Anupamaa: Anu opens up about her love story with Anuj to Bharti, Rahi decides to rejoin dance competition

In the latest episode of Anupamaa tonight, Sarita asks Anupama if Manohar is coming. Anupama gently tells her that he will visit some other time. Just then, Sarita’s daughter pleads with her mother to let her go on a school trip. She mentions that her father has already said no. Sarita quietly sends her daughter inside, saying that not every wish in life can come true. She opens up to Anupama, saying she has dreams too but their financial situation makes it hard. Anupama encourages her to dance and not give up. She reminds Sarita that winning isn’t everything — the experience itself is special. She tells her there isn’t much time left and asks her to begin practicing. When Sarita wonders how she’ll manage everything, Anupama offers to give up some of her own practice time to help her.

On the other hand, Rahi finds out she can’t get admission because of Khyati. Despite that, she doesn’t blame Khyati, knowing she is going through a tough time. She tells Parag not to be upset with her. Prem feels Khyati isn’t ready to let go of the past. Rahi begins to doubt whether she should’ve even considered the dance contest and decides to step back. Prem, however, pushes her to stay in the race. He suggests she create a new team. Pari recommends they include Mita.

In the Shah house, Leela sees Pakhi reading the newspaper and questions her about her job. She tells Pakhi to stop working for the Kothari family. Pakhi tries to warn her about Ansh and Prarthana. Leela insists she won’t let Prarthana run away with Ansh and repeats that Pakhi should resign. In their talk, Pakhi brings up the dance competition and says things might have been different if Anupama were still with them. Leela tells her to stop bringing up Anupama, but Pakhi says even Leela misses her just like she does.

Later, Bharti smells food and asks Anupama if she is making noodles. Anupama is surprised, but Bharti says she can tell from the smell. Eventually, Bharti also finds out that Anupama is a dancer. This surprises Anupama when Bharti mentions it. Meanwhile, Rahi puts together her new dance group with Pakhi, Pari, and Mita. Pakhi comments that Rahi is talented but not on Anupama’s level. Rahi gets upset and asks her not to mention Anupama again. Pakhi quickly says sorry.

Vasundhara spots the girls dancing and scolds them. Bharti comes to know more about Anupama’s past and is touched by the love story between her and Anuj. Anupama talks about how she has chosen to move forward in life, leaving the past behind. She reflects on the many duties and sacrifices she has made. Bharti gets emotional, and Preet asks what’s going on.

Anupama quietly tells Bharti to keep her story a secret. Preet asks for tea, but Bharti tells her to make it on her own. Preet argues, so Anupama steps in and decides to make it herself. Preet then gives Anupama an earring and promises to gift her a new pair once they win the contest.

Anupama and Preet wait for Sarita. When she finally arrives, Sarita says her daughter helped her finish the housework, which gave her time to practice. Anupama brings up Rita and Usha, but Sarita shares that Rita won’t be joining because of her mother-in-law’s objections.
