Another seasoned actress joins the cast of Diya Aur Baati Hum Season 2!

Star Plus' Diya Aur Baati Hum was a hot favorite show on Star Plus. The storyline impressed viewers so much, that the show's viewership topped the TRP charts throughout. Not to mention, the lead couple of the show, Dipika Singh and Anas Rashid became stars overnight.

However, after enjoying a successful run of 5 years, the show was pulled off air, much to the dismay of its loyal fans. But they soon rejoiced, when the show's second season was announced.

For the second season actors like Avinesh Rekhi, Rhea Sharma and Mayank Arora have already been locked down. And actors from the first season like Neelu Waghela, Ashik Lokhande and Kanika Maheshwari will be seen reprising their stint in season 2.

And joining this line up in a pivotal role will be Satrangi Sasural actress Sadiya Siddiqui. Sadiya has been roped in to play a powerful and challenging role, that of Avinesh's character's bua. She will be portraying the role of an authoritative woman, who will also be seen having a soft side.
