Star Plus, in the past few days have been all about Yeh Rishtey Hai Pyaar Ke going off-air. Of course, the news of the show going off-air is rather old now but it is the constant trends on Twitter that continues to catch the attention of one and all. The fans of the show are still rather angry on the occurrence and hence, continue to trend multiple things in an attempt to keep their favorite show on-air. However, while that has its own fate to witness, the channel also has an array of new shows coming in and of them is the much-talked about and awaited crime thriller from Dashami Creations.
We reported earlier about the production house has been planning on a crime thriller for a while now, and it is now finally rolling.
The show has been titled 'Rudrakaal' and is set to be a finite series for the channel focusing on the on-going crime scene in the country. What makes this show all the more promising now is the fact that an all star cast has been roped in to play important roles. Veteran actor Rajit Kapur, acclaimed lyricist and actor Swanand Kirkire and actor Rucha Inamdar have been zeroed in to play important characters. Apart from them, actors Kishor Kadam, Marathi actor Shruti Marathe and Ek Villain fame Suraj Singh will also play pivotal characters. And finally, actors Bhanu Uday, Vidya Malvade and child actor Rudhraksh will be seen in the show too.
Judging by the barrage of actors that have been roped in to play their respective roles, we feel it will be in episodic format. The show will have 26 episodes and if reports suggest, legendary filmmaker Mahesh Manjrekar will be directing it.

Bring it on SP. Hopefully this series will become a huge success and we will see variety of genre in series format in future. But will it be a once in a week type show or weekend show. Waiting to know.
