Ali Abbas Zafar breaks silence on 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' vs 'Maidaan' clash

Filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar is all set for the release of his highly anticipated action film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, which features Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff in lead roles. Scheduled to hit theatres on April 10, the same day as Ajay Devgn's Maidaan, Ali Abbas Zafar shared his positive outlook on both.

According to a report from Pinkvilla, Ali emphasized his belief that both films offer unique experiences for audiences and encouraged moviegoers to support both projects during the long weekend. Expressing his optimism, he stated, "We are two very different films and both films will offer the best to the audience, so please go and watch it on this Eid."

Highlighting the camaraderie among filmmakers, Ali stressed the importance of unity within the industry, stating, "There’s no clash, there’s no negativity among ourselves. Our respect for each other is phenomenal because we all know that we have put in a lot of hard work in making our films."

Acknowledging the talent and dedication of the team behind "Maidaan," Ali extended his best wishes to Ajay Devgn and director Amit Sharma, expressing admiration for their work.

"Bade Miyan Chote Miyan" boasts a stellar cast including Manushi Chhillar, Alaya F, and Sonakshi Sinha, and is produced by Jackky Bhagnani, Vashu Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, and Himanshu Kishan Mehra. On the other hand, "Maidaan" is a biographical sports drama focusing on football legend Syed Abdul Rahim, featuring Ajay Devgn, Priyamani, and Gajraj Rao in key roles.
