Akshay Kumar to skip the Ram Mandir Pratishta; shares a video with co-star Tiger Shroff sending his wishes

As the nation resonates with the echoes of the historic Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony in Ayodhya, Bollywood stars Akshay Kumar, unfortunately, finds himself caught between devotion and professional commitments. Invited to grace the momentous event, Akshay, who is currently shooting in Jordan for the film "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan" alongside co-star Tiger Shroff, might not be able to attend the ceremony.

In a heartfelt video shared on Instagram, Akshay Kumar, accompanied by Tiger Shroff, conveyed warm wishes to devotees on the auspicious day of Shri Ram's Pran Pratishtha. Speaking with folded hands, Akshay expressed the significance of the day, stating, "Aaj ka din puri duniya mein base Ram bhakto ke liye bohut bohut bohut bada din hai (Today is a big day for devotees of Lord Ram around the world)."

Acknowledging the wait of centuries, he added, "Kai sau saalon ki pratiksha ke baad yeh din aaya hai ki Ram Lalla apne ghar Ayodhya mein apne bhavya mandir mein aa rahe hain (After the wait of hundreds of years, the day has come, when Ram Lalla will be in his beautiful home in Ayodhya)."

Tiger Shroff, sharing the sentiment, spoke in Hindi about the significance of witnessing this momentous occasion, expressing, "We have heard so much about this (Ayodhya Ram Mandir consecration) since our childhood. But to see this day come true is a very big deal. And we are waiting for the moment we can all light diyas (lamps) and celebrate the festival of Lord Ram."

While conveying their heartfelt wishes, both actors hinted at their inability to be physically present at the ceremony due to their ongoing film commitments. Akshay Kumar, in his caption, extended "Many best wishes to all of you on the auspicious day of Shri Ram's Pran Pratishtha," emphasizing the importance of the day in the hearts of devotees.
