Akangsha's troubled moments in Saas V/s Bahu

But during the rehearsals, the bubbly actress had a horrifying experience. “I was little upset and shocked during the practice. When you are doing a Rumba form of dance, one needs to have a partner but I was not given. Secondly I never used to get a place for rehearsing in the hall due to which I ended up waiting for long hours,” says Akangsha.

A close person to Akangsha on anonymity said that, “Initially she was very excited to be part of the show as the producers promised her to give enough time for practice and also a rehearsal place which would be opened 24 X 7. But things turned out ugly when Akangsha reached there and was told that she had to wait.”

“In Rumba style of a dance one needs a partner as you have to do the lifting movements. She requested number of times to the producers to arrange one partner for her but nothing happened. Sometimes she ended up dancing with a female partner which was a bit embarassing to her as Rumba is also a sensuous dance,” adds the source.

Lastly Akangsha had to hire somebody as partner. “Yes, it’s true that I hired a partner on my own expenses. I’m very professional when it comes to work. For few days I practiced my steps with him with full determination,  but unfortunately could not perform with him on the final day. Finally on the last two days of rehearsal they gave me a partner and we successfully managed to deliver the best,” says Akangsha.

“At the end I was happy to give the best performance on stage. The final outcome was good and now I’m back to my fiction show. But one thing I realized that I can dance also,” she concludes.
