Govinda’s wife Sunita Ahuja has clarified her remarks about Ahaan Panday after speculation suggested she had compared her son Yashvardhan Ahuja’s upcoming debut with Ahaan’s film Saiyaara.

The actor’s wife had recently reacted to a fan comment that Yashvardhan should have been launched with Saiyaara. She responded by saying that her son would make his debut with a “better picture”. This sparked talk that her comment was aimed at Ahaan Panday, who has entered films under the Yash Raj banner.

On Ganesh Chaturthi, Sunita addressed the matter directly. She told the media that her words were not meant for Ahaan. “I didn’t say anything like that. I am very happy that Ahaan Panday has made a name for himself. I wish all the kids of the industry do well. Ahaan, I am a big fan of yours beta. I love you and I love Yash Raj Films too much. Don’t spread these rumours,” she said.

Sunita added that her earlier response was only to highlight her son’s journey. She revealed that Yashvardhan had already watched Saiyaara twice and had appreciated it. “My son is also going to become a hero,” she said, stressing that she had no intention of belittling anyone.

The clarification comes at a time when the family has also been battling reports of marital discord. However, Sunita and Govinda appeared together during Ganpati celebrations, putting divorce rumours to rest. Videos from the festivities showed them performing rituals and welcoming guests together.

Govinda also spoke warmly about his wife’s latest venture into content creation. “She has started her vlog and it is successful. I wish her well. I request you all to keep supporting her vlogs,” the actor said, praising her efforts.

While Sunita continues to engage audiences through her vlogs, Govinda is preparing for his return to films with Duniyadari. Their son Yashvardhan is expected to begin his Bollywood journey soon, entering the same space where Ahaan Panday has already made his mark.
