Tanushree Dutta has initiated the #MeToo campaign in India and when she spoke about it, she made jaw dropping revelations. She accused Nana Patekar, choreographer Ganesh Acharya, producer Sami Siddiqui and director Rakesh Sarang for sexually assaulting her while the shoot for 'Horn OK Please' was on the run.
Yesterday in an interview to DNA, Tanushree went on to gave a few more details and accused director Vivek Agnihotri too. She said that in 2005 when the shoot for Chocolate was going on, the director had to take close up shots of actors Suniel Shetty and Irrfan Khan. For them to give better expressions, he asked Tanushree to go in front of them, remove clothes and dance.
She said,""This guy (Vivek Agnihotri) wanted me to give cues to an actor (Irrfan Khan). It was an actor's close-up. It was not even my shot. I was not even going to be in the shot. It was the actor's close-up and he had to just look at something and give expressions. This director, he told me jao jaake kapde utaar ke naacho, usko cues do."
While narrating the incident, Tanushee also said that Irrfan Khan and Suniel Shetty were gentlemen enough to raise a voice against the director then and there. They both said that they knew how to act and they don't need her to take off her clothes and dances. She questioned biggies like Rajnikanth, Shahid Kapoor and Akshay Kumar, why they work with people like Nana and the rest she accused.
After Nana Patekar came too know about the allegations she has made on him, he said that he might deal with the situation leaglly. He is currently shooting in Jaisalmer for Housefull 4.
