After Anupamaa Apara Mehta to enter Suhagan Chudail

Transporting audiences to the fantasy realm, COLORS' ‘Suhagan Chudail’ takes entertainment to a new level altogether. Brace yourself for high-end drama as the show gears up for an electrifying wedding track. Nishigandha (played by Nia Sharma) and Moksh (played by Zayn Ibad Khan) are set to tie the knot. On the other hand, Deeya (played by Debchandrima Singha Roy) will be seen trying her best to save Moksh from Nishigandha’s ill intentions of killing him as a sacrifice and gaining immortality. The wedding promises to be a visual delight, with everyone clad in stunning black and gold ensembles, while Deeya dazzles in an exquisite red wedding attire. Just when you think the excitement couldn’t get any higher, television queen and veteran actor Apara Mehta makes a grand entrance as Yogini Kapila. Carrying within a dark past, Yogini will become Deeya’s unexpected ally in the battle against Nishigandha, adding even more twists and turns to this gripping storyline. Amidst the celebrations and preparations, how will Deeya with Yogini’s help uncover Nishigandha’s sinister plan in time to save Moksh?

Talking about her character, Apara says, “I am extremely happy to be a part of ‘Suhagan Chudail.’ Initially, I was a bit sceptical since I had never done a supernatural fantasy genre before. However, having worked with the wonderful team, especially Nia Sharma, who is very dear to me, I knew this show was extraordinary, which convinced me to take it on. I am playing the role of Yogini, who will support Deeya in fighting against Nishigandha’s evil schemes. My look in this show is very different from anything I’ve done before, it is a grey attire in a salt n pepper look, a completely new appearance for me. ‘Suhagan Chudail’ will also be a new experience with all the VFX and chroma shooting. I hope viewers will enjoy this new side of me and continue to support me as they always have.”

In the upcoming episodes, Moksh and Nishigandha’s wedding celebrations begin. Meanwhile, Deeya reaches the ruins where she learns the entire backstory of Nishigandha and discovers that Nishigandha plans to sacrifice Moksh on their wedding night.
