'Ae Watan Mere Watan's song 'Qatra Qatra' reflects profound patriotism, loyalty and passion for the nation

In a celebration of patriotism, Prime Video has unveiled the mesmerizing music video for "Qatra Qatra" from the much-anticipated Amazon Original movie, "Ae Watan Mere Watan," featuring Sara Ali Khan in the lead role. Sung by the renowned Sukhwinder Singh and composed by Raghav Sharma, this soul-stirring anthem is set to captivate audiences with its powerful lyrics and evocative melody.

The song made its debut at the 54th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa, where Sukhwinder Singh delivered an electrifying live performance, leaving the audience spellbound. The director of "Ae Watan Mere Watan," Kannan Iyer, along with lead actor Sara Ali Khan and producers Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta, witnessed the live rendition at IFFI, setting the stage for the song's official release.

"Qatra Qatra" serves as a poignant tribute to the unsung heroes of the Quit India movement, reflecting the profound emotions of devotion, loyalty, and respect. With its patriotic fervor, the song beautifully portrays the passion and dedication of those who fought for the nation's freedom, offering a glimpse into a crucial chapter of India's history.

Sukhwinder Singh, the soulful voice behind "Qatra Qatra," expressed his deep connection to the song, stating, "It holds a special place in my heart. This song not only evokes a sense of patriotism and pride, but it also encompasses the emotion and strength shown by our freedom fighters." The singer, who has collaborated with the talented lyricists Mukund Suryawanshi, Ravi Girri, and Rohan Deshmukh, hopes that the song becomes an anthem, echoing the voice of the generation, much like "Jai Ho" did in its time.

"Ae Watan Mere Watan" is an Amazon Original patriotic thriller-drama, produced by the powerhouse team of Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Somen Mishra under the Dharmatic Entertainment banner. Directed by Kannan Iyer, the film features an ensemble cast, including Sachin Khedekar, Abhay Verma, Sparsh Shrivastav, Alexx O' Neil, Anand Tiwari, and a special guest appearance by Emraan Hashmi.

Scheduled to premiere exclusively on Prime Video on March 21, "Ae Watan Mere Watan"  pays homage to the valor and sacrifice of India's unsung heroes. The film will be available in Hindi, with dubbed versions in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada, ensuring a diverse audience can experience its glory.
