Days after Adnaan Shaikh got married to Ayesha, hell has broken loose with his sister making claims of physical violence. She has said that he had been physically violent with her on previous occasions as well. It seems way back in 2022, she went for an educational trip to Somaiya College without informing the family. When she returned, it was a bit late. Adnaan Shaikh began to shout at her, when she said if she had informed he would have never allowed her to go there. It led to a physical fight and he kicked her all over her body.
Now, it has come to the fore that Adnaan Shaikh’s wife Ayesha was formerly Riddhi Jadhav. They had been dating for a long time. She was working as cabin crew for one of the airlines. Iffat Shaikh said that Adnaan told her to be like a friend to Riddhi who was planning to marry him. It seems she taught her about the Hijab. Riddhi Jadhav has now deleted her Instagram page. Iffat Shaikh said when they were close she had shared some personal matters with Ayesha. It seems her brother and now sister-in-law had a fight where she revealed everything to Adnaan Shaikh. In retaliation, Iffat said some stuff about Ayesha. She has blamed her sister-in-law for creating this huge rift.
It seems Adnaan Shaikh had a huge fight where he assaulted her father-in-law and her. Iffat has said that he kicked both of them, and some of the blows landed on her private parts. She has claimed that he was arrested and later released on bail.
Netizens have sided with Iffat Shaikh on this matter. While some are skeptical others feel domestic violence should not be ignored in this manner. On Reddit, people have shared examples of his problematic behaviour. It seems Iffat also said once that her brother did a great job by converting a woman. People are asking why they could not marry under Special Marriage Act.
