Siddharth Kumar Tewary's Chandragupta Maurya is all set to welcome a new villain on board. The story of king Alexander is now on the cards for the show and to do justice to the story , it needs the villain general Seleucus Nicator.
Seleucus Nicator was the right hand of king Alexander and he was the one who made the fight fierce between Chandragupta and Chanakya. Actor Vikas Verma who was seen essaying a negative role in Sridevi's MOM, has been roped in to play Seleucus.
Talking to the TOI about his role in the daily, Vikas said that he had read it somewhere, the measure of a hero is always his nemesis. Sometimes the world doesn't need another hero, sometimes what it needs is a monster and Seleucus is that monster for India against whom Chandragupta and Chanakya united. How would have Porus become a great hero had he not died fighting fierce fighters like Seleucus from Alexander's army?
Well, he has a point. The character of Seleucus was also seen in the series of Porus and now the story will be recreated in Chandragupta Maurya.
