Star Plus has decided to push back the premiere of its upcoming fiction drama Kabhi Neem Neem Kabhi Shehed Shehed, in light of the ongoing IPL 2025 season that continues to dominate Indian television viewership. The strategic delay aims to give the show a stronger launch window, away from the massive distraction that is the cricketing season.
Starring Abrar Qazi and Afia Tayebali in lead roles, Kabhi Neem Neem Kabhi Shehed Shehed is the official Hindi adaptation of Kothha, a hugely popular Bengali show from Star Jalsha. The show was initially expected to premiere next week, taking over the time slot from Iss Ishq Ka Rabb Rakha as the show is headed towards its end. However, the makers, along with the channel, have chosen to hold back until a more favorable viewing period owing to the ongoing IPL season. The new launch date will be revealed soon.
Set against a culturally rich backdrop, Kabhi Neem Neem Kabhi Shehed Shehed promises a layered story filled with emotional highs and lows, much like its Bengali original. The series centers around complex family dynamics, unspoken pasts, and the bittersweet experiences of love and sacrifice. This marks a significant move for both Abrar Qazi, known for Yeh Hai Chahatein, and Afia Tayebali, as they team up for the first time.

The show, which currently stars Param Singh and Vaibhavi Hankare, will shift to a 50-minute format at the 7:10 PM slot, holding the space until Kabhi Neem Neem Kabhi Shehed Shehed is ready to take off.
This version of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin is a revamped installment of the long-running series, which originally featured Neil Bhatt, Ayesha Singh, and Aishwarya Sharma in pivotal roles. The second generation then starred Bhavika Sharma and Hitesh Bharadwaj. With a refreshed cast and storyline, the current track dives deep into themes of unrequited love, fate, and emotional entanglements—elements that have kept loyal fans hooked even after the original cast’s departure. However, the ratings of the show have still not been revived.
Though fans of Kabhi Neem Neem Kabhi Shehed Shehed may have to wait a bit longer, the extension of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin promises heightened drama and fresh twists to keep audiences glued to their screens.
Stay tuned for the revised premiere date of Kabhi Neem Neem Kabhi Shehed Shehed.
