Abhishek Bachchan FINALLY addresses his divorce rumours with Aishwarya Rai: "Still married, sorry....."

Bollywood star Abhishek Bachchan has finally spoken out, addressing the swirling rumors about his alleged separation from wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. In a recent interview with Bollywood UK Media, the actor firmly dismissed the speculations, which have been intensifying over the past few weeks. The rumors had elevated a notch higher, particularly after a deepfake video and his recent social media activity, leaving fans and media in a frenzy.

During the interview, Abhishek put an end to the rumors by confidently showcasing his wedding ring, confirming that he is still happily married. “I don't have anything to say to you all about that (the rumors). You all have blown the entire thing out of proportion, sadly. I understand why you do it. You have to file some stories. It’s okay, we’re celebrities, we have to take it. Still married, sorry,” he stated, putting to rest the ongoing gossip.

The speculation first gained traction when Abhishek and Aishwarya arrived separately at the high-profile wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant on July 12 at the Jio World Convention Center. 

Abhishek attended the event with his parents, Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan, along with his sister Shweta Bachchan and her children, Navya Naveli Nanda and Agastya Nanda. Aishwarya, on the other hand, arrived with their daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan. This unusual occurrence was enough to spark rumors, which were further fueled when Abhishek liked an Instagram post discussing the rise of "grey divorces" or separations among older couples.

The post in question explored the challenges faced by couples who part ways after spending decades together, raising questions about Abhishek's personal life. However, his recent statements have clarified that all is well in the Bachchan household.

Abhishek and Aishwarya, who tied the knot in 2007, have been married for 17 years and share a daughter, Aaradhya, born in 2011. Over the years, the couple has appeared together in several films, including Dhaai Akshar Prem Ke, Kuch Naa Kaho, Guru, Dhoom 2, and Raavan.

On the professional front, Abhishek Bachchan is gearing up for an exciting lineup of projects. He is set to star alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan in the much-anticipated film King. Additionally, he has roles in Remo D'Souza's upcoming film Be Happy, Sajid Nadiadwala's 'Housefull 5' and Shoojit Sircar's next directorial venture, keeping his schedule packed and his fans eagerly awaiting his next moves on the big screen.
