The pre-wedding preparations at the Khan-Shikhare households are in full swing.

Not only is Aamir's abode lit up, but the festive spirit has also embraced the house of his first wife, Reena Dutta, where flowers and lights add a touch of splendor to the pre-wedding festivities.

Ira Khan, the 27-year-old daughter of Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta, has been offering a sneak peek into the wedding preparations on her Instagram. Recently, she shared moments from her Maharashtrian Kelvan ceremony, capturing the essence of joy as she savored a traditional Maharashtrian meal on a banana leaf alongside her soon-to-be-husband Nupur Shikhare, Kiran Rao, and Azad Rao Khan. 

In a lively video, Ira expressed her excitement, exclaiming, "My God guys, get married to a Maharashtrian and get a Kelvan. How fun is this?" Close friend and actor Mithila Palkar also shared inside glimpses from the dinner, adding to the celebratory mood.

The impending nuptials between Ira and Nupur are anticipated to be an intimate affair with reports suggesting a Maharashtrian-style wedding on the morning of January 3. Ira has given a glimpse of the unique wedding invites, featuring customized puzzles and a head massager, adding a personal touch to the occasion.

After the intimate wedding ceremony on January 3, the newlyweds are expected to host a grand wedding reception in the city, adding another chapter to the joyous celebration.
