On the top right corner of the webpage of IF you will see a round picture along with the search sign, message sign and notification bell icon. Click on that round picture. You will come across a drop down menu. On the top you have the option "Settings". Click on that. You will be lead to a page where you can change your profile settings. Choose the option "Update Profile". Under forum signature you have the "current Avatar" below that lies "upload your own" option. Click on that and add the picture of your choice as your profile pic/avatar by cropping and adding.
*Note that picture with big size dimensions can not used. The size dimension of IF avatar is 100*100.
