You got it right Thaniya.That's what spelt doom for the show

Last episode with the old cast was episode number 311.Now they are what,334 or something.Barely 23 episodes in this " New Phase " & they decide to shut down for good.

Goes on to say how all they needed to do was retain Karvishi & TRPs would have surely gone up

trp went up by 0.1. I am sure it will go up from here on. I just saw that one of Zee TVs other shows Kaala Teeka is at 0.8 too this time around...

Most of Zee's shows are in a precarious condition.So much so,it has fallen behind Sony Sab if you consider the overall ratings.It's bad

Taking the pace a notch down,trying to address the age gap thing,making Kartik insecure about it as well as his insecurities about Survi's friendship with Aniket or Survi's about Simmi & Kartik,making Survi convince Kartik that age didn't matter as long as they loved each other,that would have given the audience a lot more episodes & made the show more enjoyable & satisfying for us.Like you mentioned before,taking care of all of this & Karshi would have helped the show to hit the 2 year mark with ease & it would still be popular with the fans of the show

But the writers,the makers ,the channels lost sight of everything & all we have now is a premature demise of the show we liked so much

Karshi brought a freshness,an element so endearing that it showed in the TRPs that kept climbing up week by week.The way a father daughter relationship was portrayed along with Ankush & Harbandana's chemistry made for one beautiful father daughter,am gonna hold in my heart forever

But then they had to ruin it all again by making Tai come up with her murder schemes & the TRPs started declining

And no matter how good Ankush performed as Krishna & then again as the mentally challenged person,people had had enough of Tai

But still the TRPs stayed put at 0.9,and I felt all they had to do was focus on Sushi & the rest of the family trying to nurse him back to health to make the TRPs rise again

Sigh,like always they failed to sense the pulse of the audience & made the biggest blunder

YVR was Karvi's story & so leap was meant to bea flop.then again having Sonal as Khushi,that would never be acceptable to people who have loved her as Survi for more than a year,also they sidelined Karshi as expected,from what I hear it didn't have much of a story to begin with filled with loads of teenage romance is what I would call it.And show it was doomed right from the start,notwithstanding the huge fan following that Zain commands

Yet I would still be thankful to the makers for Karvi,Karshi,Kartik,Raghu,Pyaare & all the rest of the Barve family & others who were a treat for me to watch onscreen.They incorporated elements of run of the mill romance,but I guess like you said the 40 initial episodes of Karvi wherein they show how Survi & Kartik start to feel strongly for each other made me overlook all the plotholes & love them.

Credit goes to Sonkush too for being the perfect Karvi

Would have loved for the show to go on (Although that's not possible 😆 ) but still the abrupt & heratbreaking ending,that's something I don't think I can ever come to terms with

it was bound to go up. My mom even started watching it again just so she can see a happy ending. 😕 I am still not watching unless a KarVI/SonKush reunion is confirmed 😆
