It’s been over 3 months since we introduced the Rule for no Gen 3 discussion, tweaking it to allow discussion for 24 hours after an episode that mentions/shows a Gen 3 character has aired, with the additional allowance to mention Gen 3 character names only if used in context of Gen 4 characters.
We have been patient with editing occasional slip-ups but now we see this happening everyday where you all take it as license to discuss anything and everything related to the Gen 3 character even if they are just mentioned in an episode.
Hence we are posting this FINAL WARNING:
Gen 3 characters (Abhinav/ Abhimanyu/Abhir/ Aarohi/Neil & any other) can ONLY be talked about with respect to what was shown / mentioned about them in a Gen 4 episode.
For eg: If Abhira read an entry in Akshara’s diary about how selfless Abhinav was, then discussion needs to only mention that angle. You cannot bring in other storylines about Abhinav or share pictures/ videos/ SM edits of Abhinav not shown in the episode.
Another example: If Manish Goenka brought up how Aarohi sacrificed her love for Akshara’s sake, then you can revolve your discussions only on this plotline and cannot start talking about Aarohi and Neil and how they died and whether Ruhi or Akshara was at fault and every other plotline revolving around them from Gen 3.
Under no circumstances can you blame the current generation’s (Ruhi or Abhira) behavior on their upbringing or their bloodline or bring up any other sort of parallels with their parents/ guardians.
Gen 4 should be viewed as an independent TV show with its own plot UNLESS some kind of connection is drawn with Gen 3 in the Gen 4 episode. And if that happens, only discuss it to the extent that it's shown in the episode.
There are plenty of viewers here who are only watching this season, having never watched any other season of YRKKH. When they can watch & analyze, enjoy, & critique independently of what happened in any other season, so can everyone else.
The Rule for no mentions of the Gen 3 actors also still stands. Jay Soni, Harshad Chopda, Pranali Rathod & any other Gen 3 actor aren’t up for discussion unless they appear in a public event with a Gen 4 actor.
TRP thread cannot be used to bring up comparison with Gen 3 TRPs.
Going forward, we are going to be stricter with Gen 3 mentions.
Posts will not just be edited/ removed, members will be getting direct WLs.
Please take this as a blanket warning.
