Manjari and Ammu brings Puja out for the ceremony and makes her sit next to Akshay's chair. All are very happy except Akshay. The ceremony starts, Akshay's mom puts red chunni, puts tikka on Puja and gives her jewellery and all'.Then Manjari's mom gives the gifts and all to Akshay. During the ceremony, Akshay is looking at Manjari again & again who is very happy. Then music begins, Manjari, Ammu, Chutki start dancing. Manjari is looking at the door and thinks that all the ceremony is done and still Ranbir has not come.
Manjari goes in her room and calls Ranbir and asks him why he didn't came for the function. Ranbir is in his room decorated full of candles. Ranbir asks her that she had promised that she will come for his birthday. But manjari says that how can she come leaving all of them here? And they have a little argument. Manjari is upset this. She opens her diary and writes that Why Ranbir talked to her like that, he must hav understood the situation since understanding is very important between two people.
Manjari's dad is searching for Manjari since she is not seen anywhere. On seeing Manjari's dad worried,Akshay asks him what happened. Manjari's dad says that manjari is not seen anywhere. Akshay thinks that manjari might have gone to meet Ranbir but i cant say this to uncle.Akshay says that Manjari might have gone to market to bring something and he will bring her back within half hour. Manjari's dad tries to stop him since its his function but Akshay just ran away to search for manjri.
Akshay goes to Ranbir's home and sees that the door is locked. He wonders where Manjari might have gone if Ranbir's home is locked. He is about to go but he goes backside of the house and sees a decorated bedroom full of candles. Akshay is shocked to see Ranbir getting romantic with some girl (girl's face is not shown but Akshay thinks that she is Manjari). Akshay is shattered and is walking on the road and thinks how can Manjari do like this, she has broke all the limits today, she didn't thought of anyone.
Akshay comes back to his home and is thinking that what will he answer to Manjari's dad? Manjari's dad comes to Akshay and says that manjari was at home only. Akshay is totally shocked to know this. Puja comes to Akshay. Akshay asks her where was manjari some time back? Puja says that she was on terrace since she had an argument with Ranbir on phone. Akshay wonders that Manjari was here then who was that girl with ranbir. He says to Puja to not to let manjari go anywhere until he comes back and goes hurriedly.

PRECAP - Akshay is saying to Manjari to stop meeting Ranbir since he is a bad guy. manjari asks but why? Akshay says because he dont love you and is cheating on you
