Chapter 9
"I hate you!!" Preet yelled at her cousin throwing pillows at her.
"Shhh..Preet, they will hear us" Neha chortled dodging the pillows
Both of them were at the Pahuja residents. In Mumbai!! And it's all cause," It's all cause of you Neha" Preet whined and sat on the bed. Three days before the Pahuja had informed Amba that they had to attend a wedding of an important client; who was also one of Mrs. Pahuja' close friend in Mumbai. During that Mr. Pahuja also received an Anonymous letter from the same -mysterious- lady. So, they all decided one of them will find out about this mysterious lady and the other will keep an eye on the Wedding planner, Rajveer.
Manu took the initiative, to find out about the lady and Sukhi also joined him. He had overheard Mrs. Pahuja conversation with his Mother that she was looking for a Wedding planner to help her friends in the wedding. So Manu and Sukhi went in disguise of a Wedding planner. While Lakhan and Tej spied on Rajveer and the rest of the Bajwas. Everything was going according to plan until now.
"Oh, Come on! It will be fun. We can't let the boys do all the good work and to take the credit for themselves. Besides, we were the one who came up with these ideas in the first place" Neha giggled, grinning cheekily at her cousin.
"But, why did you have to drag me into this" Preet groaned " By now, Papa Ji and Tauji must have already found out that we are not at home or at the village. Rabji ab kya hoga!"
" Don't worry, Preet. Hamre bhai kab kam ayenge? They will handle it " She winked at Preet and lay down on the bed.

"Where is Preet and Neha?" Balwinder demanded. Tej and Lakhan quietly stood in front of their father, head bowed down, they looked like two kids caught in their mischief and were getting scolded by their parents.
Lakhan nudged Tej with his elbow and asked in a whisper,"Say something. Why aren't you saying anything? You will get both of us in trouble."
" Why me? Why aren't you saying anything!?" Tej bickered
" You are the eldest."
"Oh,so now I'm the eldest. You didn't think that back when sending them out at the market. You didn't even bother to tell me about the Rajveer?!"
"Seriously, you are arguing about that now! Even if I had informed you about it, would have taken it calmly. No! Aap Saand ki taraha mujpar tutth padte !"
" How dare you call me a bull! Mein Saand dikta hu kya tumhe! Cause you they also started to sneak out of the house. Meri dono bholi bhali behno ko begad diya tumne!"
"Excuse me!!"
"Band karo apni kusur-pusur" Balwinder roared at his sons. Both of them immediately stopped there fight. "Tej! Answer me. Where are both of my daughters"
"Why me?" Tej groaned.
"Answer me!"
" They are with Manu!" Tej replied honestly.
'Satyanash.' Lakhan face palmed.
Balwinder stood went quiet for a moment, looking astonished. " With Shah Ji. But Shah Ji is at...Preet and Neha are in Mumbai!!"
----------------------------------
" Why different rooms "Sukhi a.k.a. Bartaj asked Mrs. Pahuja worriedly.
" Now, you can't stay in the same room with a married couple.
"Parchai ji can sleep with my sister..."
" If it's space your are worried about, then worry not. Our mansion has a lot of room. And can contain double time the guest that we have now." Mrs. Pahuja touted, proudly.
Manu just quietly watched as his cousin struggled with the argument. Mannu was astounded to find Preet in the Pahuja Haveli if he can call it that. The place was huge like a castle and was triple the size of his own Haveli. And Aman sleazy friends irk him the most, trying to flirt with Preet. When they question his relationship with her Manu rifled the first thing that came into his mind
"She is my wife damn it! Stay away from her!" He yelled at them, which was quite effective as they backed off quickly. Manu sighed "At least those sleazy bas***ds will stay away from her." He mused rubbing the back of his neck.
"Sartaj Ji" Manu came out of his thought and looked at her. " You and Sohani Ji, both can stay in here." Mrs. Pahuja said cheerfully.
Manu thanked her and gently lead Preet inside the room who had covered her face with a veil. Preet removed her veil when she heard Manu shutting the door. She looked at him worriedly.
