Chapter 4

Shiv informed kanak that saras is going to be sevika. Kanak was shocked and told him that she is coming back . She shouted for bhabho and started packing her bag immediately . Bhabho asked what happened and why she is shouting ? Kanak said she has to leave immediately . Bhabho asked what happened. Kanak cried and hugged her tightly and said there is an emergency in the house and I have to go there . Ved asked but tell us what happened ? Kanak said that there was Balbrahmachariji in the house and it was a rule that no female should come in front of him and if anyone does than she has to be his sevika. To save me uma has send me here but unfortunately saras was not in home so when she came back she accidentally came in front of him. And now by next seven days she will be his sevika and brother you don't know how her life will be miserable I mean I saw one sevika she has to go bald . There will be no color in her life. She can never be married and all worldly desires will be not for hear. In short living a corpse life . Ved said that does saras agree to do all this ? Kanak said who will agree to live such life. Ved said than saras can officially file a complaint no one can force her to live such life. Kanak smile and said complaint do you think saras will file a complaint no never. Saras blindly follow uma and whatever uma say is right for her and Uma will never go against his dharam . vansh angrily said what dharam to forcefully marry a girl and to give his own sister such a miserable life. This man is a limit and kanak you will not go there I mean if he can do this with his own sister and I am bothered about my sister you will not go there. Kanak said vansh brother what are you saying that's my house I have to go there maybe I can stop it . Bhabho said you are right kanak uma loves you and he is not doing it intentionally. He is doing this just because he thinks this is dharam . Once he realize his mistake he will not do this. Ved said okay I will drop you and if you need any help you can always call me. Kanak shook his head and left from pushkar and vansh was standing behind.

Saras was thinking about her life uma came there and said saras I am sorry. Saras said don't be sorry Dadusa it's not your fault it's my destiny and no one can change it. Massisa came she thought I wanted kanak to be sevika and leave this house not my saras. Massisa said uma can you request Balbrahmachariji to give any other punishment but not this . Uma said it's of no use. We can't do anything . Kanak came there and said we can uma it's illegal to give someone this kind of punishment . Uma angrily shouted kanak don't say anything about Balbrahmachariji I will not hear. And what ever happened has happened we cannot change now I don't want anything more. Kanak asked uma are you happy with whatever happened ? Uma said nothing and left from there. Massisa said I wish this could change I would have told Balbrahmachariji to take me instead of saras I know you would have done the same thing. Kanak looked at her and said I wouldn't I am against this not just because it's happening to saras but what is happening is wrong legally and socially and I will stop this no one in this house will become sevika neither saras nor me.

Kanak was in her room Suman came there furiously and said please burn my books and my clothes I don't want anything. Bhabhisa I thought education gives us wisdom you know Dadusa is a doctor but still it's happening in this house so if education makes you like this I don't want to be educated. I wanted to be a doctor like Dadusa but not now I would never want to be like him. Kanak console her and said your Dadusa is not a bad person it's just he can't identify what's right and what's wrong. And Suman believe me I will not let this happen. Suman hugged him. Kanak thought what she can do to prevent it. Kanak called ved and said she want all details about Balbrahmachariji as mostly this just kind of people are frauds so maybe they can prove something. Ved said yes I will do it. Uma was in backyard and performing puja. Kanak came there he hided his tears . Kanak said don't hide your tears from me I am your wife I have a right to share your pain. Uma said when my father died I promise myself that none of my siblings will suffer but today I failed. Kanak said you are not failed still you have time you can change this. Uma said he can't and left from there and kanak was standing behind.

Chapter 4

Kanak was tensed time was running out. Saras has accepted this. Kanak knew that saras will never question Uma and Uma will never question his dharam. Kanak tried to talk to Massisa but Massisa is already angry with her as because of her uma has to go to jail and now she is blaming kanak for saras as well. Kanak tried to pacify her but she is not ready to listen. In the large house only Massa was there to listen but she cannot do anything and now kanak was feeling the same helplessness. Ved called her and said that convince saras to file a complaint as there is no evidence against Balbrahmachariji it's not that he is fully correct but there is a large number of believers of him and without any evidence we cannot arrest him. Kanak said but brother this is against law . isn't it ? Ved said it is but people should believe in law not in such fake saints who make others life miserable. Kanak you cannot win all the time if you win than also you will lose uma and if you lose you will lose yourself. Kanak said brother thanks but I can't afford to lose if I lose myself than also I will not be able live here. I know I may lose uma it's hard to change him but I can't lose. She disconnected the call.

Saras thought that she made a sin by believing on vansh hence she has to go through all these and she accepted her fate. Kanak was cooking in kitchen Massisa told her to cook Sara's favorite food as less days are remaining. Rituals have started to make her sevika so saras cannot have her favorite food which kanak has made for her and everybody also denied it. Kanak was getting angry on Balbrahmachariji. She said to herself that how can someone do this. He was a guest here we did everything so that he will be comfortable but he is so cruel. Everything is happening in front of him but it doesn't bother him. Uma said he is meditating with Balbrahmachariji so no one will disturb them. Kanak was in kitchen . A sevika came there kanak angrily asked her what offence we have made that you are punishing us you know how much uma loves saras what is saras to this house but you all are still taking her away to give her a miserable life which she doesn't deserve. Sevika folded her hands and said I am sorry on behalf of my son . Kanak was shocked . She continued yes I am his mother but he left me a long time back he is addicted to this power where people put their life in his feet. Where people do what he says.

Kanak said if he is your son why don't you say anything to him. Tell him to stop this. Sevika continue you tried right what happened did uma listen to you. Same my son also doesn't listen to me but I am his mother I can't leave him so I am with him. I am sorry. She was crying. Kanak tried to console her and said God also respect mother and someone who treat his mother like his slave cannot be a guru infact he is a demon and he doesn't deserve any respect. Kanak walked towards Balbrahmachariji room where uma and Balbrahmachari were together. Suman saw and tried to stop but she was in no mood to listen . Palomi was happy that finally kanak would finally become sevika. Kanak opened the door and Balbrahmachari and Uma saw her. Uma reprimanded her for coming there. Kanak said she don't care but I want to say you something you are not a guru you are a demon you are here to swallow all our happiness. Uma told her to shut up but she didn't. Balbrahmachariji was looking at her. Kanak said don't look at me like this I will not be your sevika and nor saras will become. Balbrahmachariji smiled and said you don't want saras to become my sevika she will not. Kanak was surprised.

Kanak was shocked what she heard . She asked again are you sure that you are not taking saras as your sevika. Balbrahmachariji smiled and said you are right saras will not be a sevika. Kanak said but how come I mean you have only told that saras will be your sevika and now you are leaving her so easily what is this. Balbrahmachariji said okay go on you can ask for whatever you want. Suman shiv Massisa palomi all were standing outside. Palomi said kanak is inside and now she is in front of Balbrahmachariji so she also has to become a sevika. Suman told her to shut up already we are tensed for saras and now you are telling about kanak bhabhisa as well. If this is the punishment I will also become a sevika. Massisa yelled at her and told to think before speaking you don't know what are you saying. Suman argued that you are not telling anything to palomi . Massisa said it's happening all because of kanak who told her to go inside now she has to bear the consequences. Kanak opened the door and came outside. Suman and shiv were waiting for her. She told Suman to call saras. Shiv ran to call her. Suman asked what happened. Kanak said nothing but today saras will decide her life. Saras came in front of her. Uma also came outside and asked saras does she want to become sevika. Saras didn't answered. Kanak asked once again do you want to leave us and want to become a sevika. Saras cried and hugged uma and said I don't want to leave you but I have committed a sin. Kanak console her and said it's not your fault you didn't knew it. Saras said you don't know bhabhisa what has happened I understand that I didn't knew the truth but still it happened to me. Kanak said even God can't punish someone who is pure at heart and you are the purest and Uma saras has given the answer she doesn't want to go and as far as guilt is concerned she will forget about it. Go and tell to Balbrahmachariji. Uma agreed and went inside.

All were waiting outside for him. Massisa didn't understand what's going on. Uma came back and said that Balbrahmachariji has fulfill his promises saras will not go anywhere . Suman shiv kanak and saras were happy. Massisa was also happy but she asked uma what happened inside. Uma said kanak had saved Balbrahmachariji life so he granted her one wish. And kanak asked that he will not force anyone to become his sevaks or sevika if he/she doesn't want. Kanak said that yes and saras denied so she is not going anywhere. Suman hugged saras. Massisa said that means anyone who will come in front of Balbrahmachariji if she doesn't want to become sevika Balbrahmachariji will not take her with him . Uma smiled and said yes Massisa. Uma said what happened inside. Kanak said it's my wish and I can ask for anything right.Balbrahmachariji said yes you can ask me anything. So I want a promise that you will not compel anyone to become sevaks or sevika against their wish. Balbrahmachariji argued but this is a punishment for ladies if they come in front of me they have to become my sevika. Kanak said it's wrong you are Balbrahmachari so you should have that patience in you and it's a your problem that you don't want to see any female why should others suffer. Balbrahmachariji thought for a moment and said okay as you say. Go and ask her if she wants nobody can stop her. Kanak agreed and went outside. Balbrahmachariji asked who is she ? Uma answered she is my wife kanak. Balbrahmachariji said this name suits her.

Uma continued so saras doesn't want she will not be one. Kanak and Suman were very happy. They did a hi five . minutes later Balbrahmachariji opened the door so all the ladies got scared but Balbrahmachariji said it's okay if you all don't want I will not give you a life of my sevika. This is your house you can live freely here. Uma touched his feet. One by one all of them proceed . Kanak was standing she didn't came. Uma signalled her to go but she said for blessing I have to touch his feet will Balbrahmachariji will be comfortable. Balbrahmachariji said you have already touched me while saving my life so that's okay . kanak proceed but later denied saying I have not accept you as my guru so I will not do it . I am sorry. She left. Balbrahmachariji saw her.
