Episode 31 Update
- Kaka says he will host a grand wedding. Baa taunts Manikant having two wives. Kaki Maa defends them saying they don't know what condition they got married in.
- Baa says they just paid off all the debts. Where will they get all the money from? Kaka says he'll take care of it. He won't let his head hang in shame again.
- Garv is staring at his selfie with Titli. His sisters tease him. They tell him he should take Titli on a date and they give him ideas on where to take her.
- Monica tells him that gestures matter a lot and he should plan something special. Garv says it's girls who plan out these things and he doesn't know anything about it. He tells Monica to think of something. Monica says, in that case she'll marry Titli too. 😆
- She tells him that Garv should take tips from Aditya as he plans a lot of romantic things. Garv takes it on as a challenge saying if Aditya can do it, then so can he and he will do it much better too.
- Titli's friend asks why Titli is so sad. Titli tells her that she's worried about the family and the cost of the wedding. The friend tells her to focus on Garv and enjoy the moments she spends with him. Let the adults take care of these things.
- Garv asks Titli out on a date. Titli shows her friend the text and calls Garv romantic. She tells her to say yes and Titli does. Garv's sisters are also giggling seeing the yes. Garv tells Titli to wear the same dress she had worn during their first meeting. She says okay. The sisters continue to tease Garv. The friend tells Titli this is why she had given Garv 10/10 as he remembers everything. The sisters want a constant update on what's happening. 😆 Garv excuses himself to get ready.
- Lmfaoooooo, Garv's waiting outside a place called "Asian Restaurant". Wtfffff 🤣
- He has a bouquet of roses and is waiting for her. He thinks he should have gone to get Titli herself. Titli arrives in a taxi wearing her bridal joda. Garv asks her, "This?" gesturing towards the dress. Titli reminds him that this is what she was wearing when they first met. Garv thinks back and remembering, laughs. He had actually meant what she was wearing in their second meeting (the blue kurti). 😆
- Titli gets embarrassed. Garv thinks she's looking really pretty anyways. Before going in, she asks him if he noticed anything. When he doesn't, she very proudly points out that she's not wearing the nose ring. (She's so cute!
) - Garv gives Titli the bouquet of flowers. They go inside the restaurant. Titli points out how there's no one there not realizing Garv did it on purpose. She thinks an empty restaurant is a sign of bad business and suggests they should go elsewhere. She talks about how fancy restaurants rob people of their money by selling Rs. 10 ki chai for Rs. 200. 😆
- Garv tells her that he has booked the entire restaurant for her. She's shocked. (Itna kitna paisa hai iss bande ke paas. 😆)
- He tucks her into her seat. Titli looks nervous. Garv snaps his fingers and a couple of violinists come out and start playing. Garv slides the menu toward Titli and tells her to decide on what to get today. She asks Garv to do it instead. He orders a veg sizzler, avocado toast and dim sum. The waiter asks what kind of water they would like: mineral, spring or black (yeh kaala paani kya hai?????
) - Titli whispers to Garv how they are thieves. Garv orders mineral water.
- The food arrives and it's sushi??
- Garv tells Titli it's his favorite cuisine and that he loves it. He's eating with chopsticks while Titli keeps looking on. She doesn't know how to use them and she's talking to herself saying Garv has booked an entire restaurant for her and she can't even do this much for him. She very cutely tries to use the chopsticks but fails.
- Garv notices a waiter laughing at Titli. He sees Titli struggling. He pulls out his phone, and texts something.
- The blue sushi roll falls out of the plate and Titli is embarrassed. Garv says there's one thing that he's not liking at all. Titli immediately apologizes to which he replies sorry can't be the solution to everything, especially not for lies. She lied to him that she likes this food. Titli looks down embarrassed. He can tell looking at her face that she doesn't like it all. He says it's okay and that she can tell him anything. She doesn't need to hesitate. Titli tells him that he worked so hard to make this date special. She didn't want to ruin it. Garv says that he did it all for her. If she doesn't like it then what's the point? He says it's okay though and they'll go out to have something that she likes. Titli says no as he has booked an entire restaurant. The money will just go to waste. Garv laughs it off. He doesn't mind the money going to waste, but not his date. They both leave.
- Garv tells Titli that he forgot his phone inside and that he'll get it. In the meantime, she should decide where to go.
- The waiter tells Garv that his phone is ringing. Garv says it's for him and that he should answer it. The waiter answers it and it's his boss telling him that he's been fired. When the waiter questions what did he do, Garv tells him that's what he deserves for making fun of his fiancee. The waiter apologizes but Garv doesn't listen. He takes the phone and leaves.
- Garv asks Titli if she decided what to get. Titli takes him to a gol gappa stall. He's not happy while Titli is enjoying to the fullest. Titli asks if he would like one and he says no as these are things that girls eat (what?? 😆)
- Titli rightfully asks him where is this rule written that gol gappe are eaten only by women. She asks Garv if he has never eaten one before. She tells the vendor to make one for Garv and she's trying to feed him one but Garv is resisting. The gol gappa breaks and the water splashes everywhere. Garv told her that he doesn't like all this hence why he can't eat it. He has already told her that he will never force her to do things that she doesn't like. But the things that she does like, he'll feed her with his own hands. He feeds her a gol gappa and Titli is very happy.
- Titli is soooo cute
- Garv thinks to himself that he promises to keep Titli happy like this forever. He wishes they get married without any problems.
- We're introduced to his ex. She caresses his photo and his jacket which she has kept
- TiRv see Kaka at a loan store. Titli asks Garv why Kaka is here. They overhear Kaka say that he needs money for a grand wedding, not a dowry. He doesn't want anything to be lacking from his side.
- Garv tells Titli had he known then Kaka wouldn't have been asking for meony right now. He tells Titli that he'll take care of it.
- Garv tells Kaka that he doesn't need to do all this for the wedding. Kaka's surprised to see TiRv. Titli tells him that he shouldn't burden himself with her wedding. Kaka says it's a responsibility, not a burden. She is his daughter after all and Garv says he's his son. He has a bond with his FIL as well and he can't see his loved ones in pain. Kaka says for children's happiness, a little trouble is okay to which Garv disagrees. When it comes to Titli's happiness, then Kaka's respect can't be bought. The loan vendor congratulates Kaka for getting a son, not a SIL. Garv tells Kaka to trust him and that he'll make it right. Kaka agrees.
- The girls are playing carrom with Manikant who's teaching them how to make a winning shot.
- Before he can make his play, Garv stops him. He takes the counter and makes the shot for himself. The girls clap for Garv. Garv tells the girls that parents shouldn't be listened to every time as they're not always right. Manikant asks him what he's talking about.

This is the second time that Titli lied to him regarding simple things like food when she didn't need to. They're both still getting to know each other so it's obvious they will have differences. Yes, Garv put a lot of thought and consideration into planning this date and the ice cream one, but that doesn't mean she needs to lie about how she feels just to keep him happy. As Garv had rightfully pointed out, he's doing all this so that she's happy. If she isn't, then what's the point?
I hope Titli realizes this ASAP and becomes comfortable voicing out her opinions to him rather than just saying things that will please him.
Thoughts:
It was a very calm and chill episode with Garv's sisters teasing him, TiRv's episode and then thoda sa drama toward the end. But even that wasn't OTT. Kalesh toh kal milega when Garv confronts his dad wanting the big fat wedding.
I guess because it was their first date, TiRv were awkward with each other as they didn't talk a lot. There was mostly a lot of smiling but not enough questions being asked. Idk if this was done as a time constraint for the plot or if it's going to end up mattering later on.
Garv calling gol gappe women's food was a major LOLL. I didn't know ab khaano ko bhi genderize kiya jaa ra hai. 😆
Overall, Garv again surprised me as he didn't lash out in the moments I expected him to (the gol gappa breaking). He instead was calm which again shows that Garv isn't angry just for the sake of being angry. There are some very specific triggers that set him off. Yes, he did get the waiter fired but it wasn't done in an OTT angry manner. It was very calculated and methodical which is another terrifying side for him to have.
The small scene they showed of the ex, it clearly showed she hasn't gotten over Garv. She's still very deeply in love with him to the point I guess you can say obsession. I'm not sure how the promo scene is going to play out, but the ex is definitely going to manipulate it in a way that benefits her.
