Bidaai from Rajan Sahi is one such beautiful example how two female leads should be handle...how two main couples of the show should be handle...that show was also a story of two sisters...neither sadhna was sidelined nor ragini...they both had equal screenspace...just to glorify one female lead of the show...the other female lead screenspace was neither reduced nor turn the sister negative for trps...it never drifted from the theme...Alekh-Sadhna and Ranveer-Ragini had equal screenspace of conveying their love stories...neither of the two main couples in the show were sidelined nor one is given the main lead preference and the other as a non-existing couple of the show...everything in the show was balance beautifully...whether sisters bonding or both couple love stories...everything was perfect...both the couple had strong fanbase...in awards functions...both sisters shares award together as a tie or as one...It was No 1 show of SP those days after Ekta shows...RS definitely needs to watch Bidaai to know how to balance 4 leads...

Guys Relax...i too agree that Teja deserves a award too...but just think the award goes to only 1..so this time its for HElly ...hope next time teja bags that award...coming to screen space ...i don't think Helly has got more screen space than Teja...it was always between Swara & Ragini till now...now all of a sudden they can't shift to Ragini ...swara has to deal with Kavya right now...i'm sure from this week Ragini too will be shown in lime light...Though i hate to see Ragini as weak abla naari , but honestly it takes time for her to stand up for herself...

Who said that other sister has to be always positive ? Ragini was given enough screen space during her engagement track or Swara Laksh Marriage track. Just because she was turned grey that doesn't mean it is done to glorify other lead. Cvs have beautifully shown Swara and Ragini's character growth.

People talk about Bidaai then my answer is Uttaran. That show ran successfully with same theme and both couples were balanced well. Tapasya was extremely negative yet in later part she turned positive. Both Iccha and Tapasya had equal screen space.

Thing is that fans can't see their favourite actor playing negative role. So they feel that other lead is glorified. That's it. Same thing would have happened if Swara was negative and Rags positive.

That's actually a good comparison! Rashmi has won more awards for her negative character than Tina has for her positive character, iirc.

IKR..!! Rashmi Desai won Best Actrss Critics in ITA 2014 for portraying complex character of Tappasya..!!
