Pretty much agree with PV_IFhandle & Felixfelilah
My two cents:-
Samaira & Arya :- That was one of the most insipid rendition of the iconic song ever. 😳 I had predicted that it would go to Arya. Maybe it would’ve been a tad better as her solo. Together, they took it to a mediocre level.
Pratyush-Rohan :- As usual Rohan did justice - how long is he going to be a carrier for Pratyush? 😡
Faiz :- OMG! Two Sonu numbers, one The Cult song & what a performance it was! It was my wish to hear sandeshe by him. The antara of ‘ye guzarnewale hawa ‘…moved me to tears, just like I do everytime I hear Sonu performing this. Incredible for a 14 yr old. 👍👌 This is one of his best ever.👍💕 I have said this before - he has a tonal quality like the chameleon - whether Arijit, Sonu or Rafi , you feel that particular song is just suited for him. Just like PD. I was about to say
‘ give him the trophy already’…. but then came sayisha…😊💕& Rituraj 💕😊
Sayisha :- Dil diya hai was sooo superb, that you feel like giving her your jaan 😊💕. Just awesome. 👍.
Mani :- Didn’t enjoy. Teri Mitti sounded flat. These days, Mani doesn’t connect with me - or maybe all that hype is becoming
counter-productive, at least with me.
Rituraj :- Vaishnav jan was so sublime & bande mein hai dum was amazing. 👍 The second song of Sonu’s is actually a tough one & he aced it. 👍👌. This boy never ceases to amaze me - always consistently perfect ( though Faiz & Sayisha have slipped in between) & versatile ( unlike Mani) and interestingly he makes it appear so effortless. Incredible 👍👌. If he doesn’t get into the finals, the reason will be obvious.
Chetanya -Soyab. :- another of my fav song Suno gaur se… 😔. Soyab - yes 👍, Chetanya - nooo.
Pranjal - ekla chalo was v good; chodo kal ki was okayish. Pranjal these days is getting sidelined with all the Mani mantra, & he is quite subdued. No stellar performances of late.
Top 3 for me :- Faiz, Rituraj, Sayisha in that order.
Asides:-
* Manoj the Wordsmith - he makes you cry, he makes you smile - he makes you hold your head high. 👍👍👌

Same four would be my pick for finalists, but in different order - Faiz, Rituraj, Sayisha, Mani, plus Soyab.
Having caught up after a while, yesterday’s performances seemed very mediocre compared to previous ones. For some reason Mani’s voice fails to move me even though I think he is a great singer. With Teri Mitti yesterday, there was no feel at all. Plus, every breath he took was visible, clearly showing his lack of training. I wished to hear the song in Faiz’s voice.
Faiz, Sayisha, and Rituraj were exemplary. Loved their performances. Huge disservice being done to Rohan and Soyab by making them sing in pairs Also, the song selection, especially for Soyab, needs to be better. Aryananda-Samaira, I didn’t enjoy.
Soyab is really an under-rated kid. He is more versatile than Mani.
Arya-samaira left me in the cold too.

Tbh, although I enjoyed Faiz’s Sandese Aate Hai, it stopped short of being my favorite rendition of the song 😀
I still remember Pritam Acharya’s audition for SRGMP li’l champs 2019, coincidentally the same season that Faiz was runner up 😁 Pritam’s version of the song remains my favourite 💕
Just felt like sharing here since everyone seems to have loved Faiz’s performance. Not that he didn’t deliver, but probably not as much as I expected 😅

Mine too he sang that song in audition and I was like wow. Pritam came third and Faiz second but both were good in that season.

Vaishnav Jan Toh - look for the version by Ashit Desai. For me, that is the definitive version - an amazing voice, crystal clear diction, and being a Gujarati himself, perfect pronunciations too.
Manoj Muntashir - you have, as usual, articulated this much better than I did 👍
And your last para wish list - that would have been a memorable episode! But we got that chance on Friday evening already, in the Badhe Chalo concert. The full video is available. Let me know if you can't find it - I will most gladly send you the link.

Loved Pritam Acharya's performance on this song, one of the best. This of Pritam and Chaturnar of Faiz were my most favorites that season. But yeah Faiz version and style is totally different for Sandese. I love both, the emotion tht Faiz got was incredible.
And been a fan of 2019 lil champs and I remember Faiz used to be called a versatile singer who would attempt every different genre, kill it. He got chartbuster maximum times but here they started giving him only slow songs in between and I totally felt his talent is being wasted but finally he is getting different kinds of songs. The way he used to sing in Saregama lil champs was extremely cute and powerful. He is good in classical too but performed here.
And 2020 Saregama PA lil champs is like De Ja Vu same judges, Aryananda and even same guests combination too lol. Saw Padmini kolhapuri clip and same songs too.

Medals or Duniya hila do is secondary. But they are playing with Children's self confidence. That was not tolerable. Rituraj always had a smile on his face when he sings except when he sings sad songs. He was a very happy kid. But from last few episodes that smile is constantly missing from his face. Idont know if that's the exact reason, but if it is, that's too sad. It's not just me, so many people started to noticing it.
Totally agree with this! He was so happy on stage! Always reflecting the right emotions, but quite visibly it's fading! Disheartening! Song choices are not the best! Grossly underutilized talent of the show!

I think Soyab & Mani has similar styles & Soyab does it so much better than Mani..Mani has a beautiful voice..there is an earthy feel to it..very honest..but there is a lot of improvement needed..A LOT..& I dont think the judges or anybody bothers about it! & The drama..I almost feel sorry for the kid cuz I hate this drama more and more everyday..& feel less inclined to watch him..
& Pranjal..he has a unique style..& I think the content creators or whoever can be a lil more creative & find ways to use his talent without giving the same kind of songs..the kids are locked in their charcter sketches! Raja betta, Prabhu, Naughty..whatever whatever...So sad!
& Looking at the graph of improvement..the only contestant who has shown significant improvement in my opinion is Sayisha & I believe Pawan has a big role in it. Regardless of people saying captains don't coach..looking at those on-stage chemistry, I think he does..n it's wonderful! Sayisha is blessed to have Pawan as her captain!
I can only imagine how wonderful it would've been if all captains were like Pawandeep!
To me all these kids seem more and more depressed & stressed! Shouldn't they have someone to make sure that the content creation is secondary to preserving the mental health of people especially this being a kids' show!

I didn’t get to see earlier Saregamapa lil champs I started watching 2014 one where Arunita also participated Alka was maha guru and Shaan and Monali were captains but among all I loved lil champs 2019. Faiz was so versatile and he was given title of Mr. Consistency along with versatile.
