Performance Discussion 6 & 7 August, 2022

Saturday Episode - Akshay Kumar & Raksha Bandhan Special.

Samaira's performance was good. In promo it was not sounding nice but actual performance was good.

Faiz just rocked today. Both songs, what a performance. His chances of winning are very high.

Rituraj - Aryananda sweet performance.

Sayisha & Pratyush good.

Mani excellent.

Didn't enjoy Soyab and Chetanya's performance. They started well but then tried too many things which didn't work for me.

Pranjal & Rohan didn't perform.

Bold: how many times Rohan not given chance to perform? And when given, it’s duet.

Then how can they justify in giving out medals when one or two contestants miss out in performing. Instead of some singing 2 songs, why not just give one song so that each contestants get a chance.

Why they don’t miss mani for one week 😆

Been a bit busy. Here’s yesterday’s update

Sat 6th Aug. akshay Kumar Raksha Bandhan special

Samaira:- Soch na sake was not a song meant for her. She was improving , but of late again I find her performances very average. Wished they had given her some other song. Didn’t connect for me.

Faiz :- This boy rocked. 👍👍. One of my fav Sonu song ‘Mujhe Raat Din’ was rendered superbly. What a feel! You can’t make out that it is sung by a 14 year old. 👌. Followed by Har kisi ko with great aplomb. One of his best performances. 👍👍He is steadily moving towards that trophy.
Pratyush - Sayisha :- Pratyush, for a change, did a good job. Sayisha as usual was fabulous.

Mani :- That was a scripted requested made to look extempore. Anyways a tough song of HR ‘ teri yaad saath hai’ was rendered v well. I still feel he should try a slightly lower scale so as to have more impact in higher notes. Nevertheless,enjoyed the performance.

Arya-Rituraj :- Good to include one bhai-Behen song. Phoolon ka taaron ka an easy number for these two. No surprises. Both did well. 👍. I still liked Rituraj more than Arya. Got SSN.

chetanya -Soyeb:- Mast Kalander. Soyab again scored over Chetanya. Overall a decent performance. But not worth DHD.

Asides…

* Mani & his sister can conquer your hearts with just their smiles. Such cuties.💕

* Thank god,they didn’t show a makeover of Mani’s sis - no offence to the child.

* Nihal’s rendition of his song was 👍.
* DHD was again in short supply - not even for Faiz?? Come on…

* Pratyush’s platter gave way to Akshay’s. 🙄 If only it had given way to Rohan- Pranjal performances.

* Finally…. Someone up there is stalking the forum! We were talking of burning some stuff - the first in the list being the chef coat. And TCT obliged. 😀

So, Pratyush without his chef coat performs better.😀.

Faiz missing out on dhd - no first time and won't be the last time. also missing out on medals.

could it be as he is in we know who team 😉

Today’s status - Sayisha and Mani 9 medals. Rituraj did not get it.

Once Again how is it justified if one compares between Faiz and Mani’s singing? What’s so special about his singing compared to Faiz , pranjal and Soyab????!!!

Looks like in someone’s book, it’s written Mani must be given medal every time!!!!!

The judges comments this time during medal distribution was very interesting 🤪 5 medals as usual - Sayisha, Mani, Chetanya, Pratyush, Soyab. Plus one special judge’s choice medal for Faiz lmao. So they were literally declaring that the usual top 5 medals are not judges choice 🤣

Moreover, any judges panel declaring Sayli’s team as Team of the Week would lose all their credibility anyway

there is a lot of biasness in the show. Faiz is being pushed back deliberately and Mani is getting unnecessary sympathy comments and votes from the judges.

hope the public will do justice where required and vote appropriately.

Too much screen time given to Mani. it's ott. Whole family present. Yet comments are his mother does sewing to make ends meet so if whole family present in the show, who is earning to make ends meet??

Sun Aug 7, Kishoreda special

Rituraj :- Meri soni & Saara zamana . Very well done. But I felt, they could’ve given him some other numbers befitting his voice. Still, the rendition was as usual flawless.

Pranjal :- Musafir hoon yaaron- very much in his comfort zone with this philosophical number. He did well. Got DHD

Sayisha - Pawan :- my fav duo is back & most importantly Sayisha is back 👍👍. Haal kaisa hai & Hum dono do premi - she got the notes bang on for both. Awesome. A well-deserved DHD.

Mani :- The iconic Tere bina zindagi se & the softer number Agar Tum na hote. He did full justice to both, though in between I had the feeling that he was about to lose a beat. Got DHD.

Rohan -Pratyush :- Pratyush once again gets the piggyback ride on Rohan. Rohan carried both the numbers well. Pratyush was v mediocre in Jai shiv shankar. Liked their second song Paisa o paisa better. Again, it was Rohan’s show.

Faiz :- just one word, as described by Alkaji. Outstanding 👍👍. Chehra hai kya & Aise na mujhe tum dekho - both were awesome. His tonal quality apart, his voice modulation is superb. Another factor that pulls you in is the lyrical clarity with feel. 👌

Arya, Samaira,Chetanya & Soyab didn’t perform.

Top 5 :- Mani, Sayisha, Soyab,Pratyush, Chetanya.

And as an afterthought ‘a special medal’ for Faiz…

Pratyush, Chetanya didn’t deserve at all.

Team of the Week … Sayli. Need I say more? 🙄🙄😡😡

Of course - PD -Aru duet Kya yahi Pyaar Hai. How do they do it everytime? The notes, cues, eye-gestures all right across the room; creating their own magic once again. They have rendered this n number of times, but it was still pure bliss to hear again - and again…♥️💕

* HR’s Pyaar tumhe.. with PD continuing the antara. Awesome.

Overall an enjoyable episode, kishoreda’s songs sending me on the nostalgia lane.

Finally…. Byju’s are planning to start from their turf - talks are on to start a crash course on English for the team. Neeraj & Co seem to get entwined in homophones…efforts are on to make them understand that what they hand out is Team of The Weak… (with stress on the article).😡
