I come from the west, where tans and sprays are used to darken ones complexion. Here the 'olive' skin tone is the desired look. I find that i'm complimented the most whenever I get a tan lol. It's strange that what may be considered inferior in one place, is considered superior in another. So from where I am from, Parul appears to be a very beautiful young women indeed, with her complexion being a bonus...

it is so true beauty should not be defined just by looks and parul is more beautiful from inside. i love the way she acts and dances i think she is truly a beautiful person.

there are so many good qualities in Parul to feel proud about ......

she's a gr8 actor.........her down 2 earth n humble nature.......her caring attitude 2wards her family , friends n co- actors ........... the way she doesnt try to show off like other actors - i mean if she's not comfortable speaking english she speaks in Hindi n dat too widout any hesitation ......................... she's not one of those television n bollywood actresses who unnecessarily show off their skin just to grab the silly media n male attention ................. inspite of being a celebrity she's still the bubbly little girl ...... she hasnt changed a bit ......... her gorgeous features which are 2 die for ......... especially her killing smile............. den she's multitalented ........... she's a superb actor , a gr8 dancer ........she's good at drawing , making rangoli , singing ( based on wat i've seen in her sbs/sbb interviews)........ N MOST IMPORTANTLY SHE'S A GR8 HUMAN BEING !!!!

u noe finding good qualities in a fictional character n praising them is very easy .......... but finding such good qualities in a real person in very difficult especially in a celebrity ,,,,,,,,,, n Parul is one of those rare poeple........... SHE IS INDEED A GEM OF A PERSON !!!!

@mona i completly agree wid u dear. she is beautiful but wht is most imp is tht she is very good human being frm heart & is a completly down 2 earth person whch is very rarely seen in celebrities. & yess yaar her smile is her USP oops i should say 1 of her USPs.her smile is not only killing but cute as well

beauty comes in all colours, shapes and sizes......people in our subcontinent are just too narrow minded.......the goras have left but the superiority of their colour has remained in the minds of people.....for people in pakistan....cant say about india.....fairness is admired.....mother seek fair brides for their sons.....no matter how dark the son is .....bahu should be fair and drop dead gorgeous.......anyways....i am glad parul loves her duskiness....you go girl.

I believe Parul is looking great and very content about her looks and all. That is very good and very motivatng. She looks good to everyone! Her duskiness has its own beauty!

BUT whats this about GORAs yeh and Goras woh? .... 😕 ....

There can be fair skinned or caucasian people reading this site do u know that???? ... how would they feel?

Being fair skinned does not automatically make someone prejudiced against the dark skinner. So why this attack?? ... I've seen this lately that some really go on to attack he fair skinned.

Gora's are now left beind ... etc ... and Gora's did this or that ... its very mean.

No "ism" is unidirectional ... remember that.

We all can be beautiful in our own ways ... and beauty is not skin deep.

The thing is, this is just they way it is really. Back home, fair skin people are stereotypically considered more beautiful, and more superior sometimes on that basis alone, and that's all she's saying coz it's the truth. Although where I leave now, that's not always necessarily the case. Anyway I'm not offended by her pointing out that fact, no one has said anything insulting..
