It made me even think if you are seriously saying whatever you are saying? Because honestly, you do sound funny! Instigating, irritating...but i can still forgive it all if you were joking!

Secondly.. Other actors...which other actors YOU have auditioned for the role of Ratan? And I am talking about RLHN...not PPK here.
Were you there in the actor selection team? Were you there in the casting unit?
If you were not, how can YOU be so sure that any other actor would have done better than Rohit?

exactly...the same thing i want to ask that u haven't seen anyone else performing the role of ratan singh how do u know he is just the best...just because he got some online fans but he couldn't save the show from a confirmed tragic end...

i am talking abt PPK here because no matter what anyone says both shows belong to one storyline...a.rey the characters r same the show began from where it left from PPK media also reported heavily so the comparisons are inevitable. PPK would have been running stronger becuase its concept was different..RHLN had nothing new plus there was no great chemistry between the leads..the ratings say that all..

in case your memory is short-lived, PPK didnt work for majority of people in the country who signed petition against it in hoards. Broadcasting ministry ordered the show to be moved to a 10:30 slot which would have never really gotten it much trp. the child actors parents had concerns with the child being the in show as a result as well. the MAIN objection with it was the child marriage and showing scenes between grown woman and a child in the context of marriage...any scenes...them sharing a bed was one of it. So channel didnt hit the axe on their foot, they did the smart thing along with PH and shut the show before the brought more outrage from the general audience not just against the show but against the channel.

that was cute for 2 months

if they keep showing the same thing for 6 months even ppk could have got low trp sooner or later

the story needs to take a leap after 4 or 5 montsh atleast

also MANY were signing petotions against ppk i.e baout 100k signed and broad casting corpration decided to move the show to 10.30 pm and makes decided that is not prime time and decided o AIR OFF PPK

When makers bought in RLHN they clearly mentioned loud and clear that this show is complete new and nothing to do with PPK but if u still choose to not believe then that's your problem.

Coming to Rohit, well let me tell you many actors had auditioned and some had even been shortlisted (this I am saying on basis of an article which had come) but finally Rohit was selected .

If he is really that bad then why did the makers not replace him within few months of show airing, PH is big and powerful they can easily kick him out and any actor would happily agree to take up this role. It is because Dira were loved immensly and their pair became popular, the trps were very good that time.
Because of his own efforts his popularity is increased, his fans have increased. People can easily identify good and bad acting.

Trps have dropped only because CVs stretched the story, fans wanted love story but they kept showing friendship of the couple, sometime they butchered ratan's character and sometime diya. It's not at all actors fault here, they just do and inact as they are told to .It's fault of CVs who wrote the entire plot.

this is from wikipedia...both shows are same...why so much arguments i can't understand

Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya is an Indian mystery drama series on SET India, starring Tejaswi Prakash Wayangankar and Rohit Suchanti.[1] It premiered on 7 November 2017.[2][3]

The series is a restructuring of Pehredaar Piya Ki, [4] which received negative social media response for depicting its two central characters, Diya, an 18-year-old princess and Ratan, a 9-year-old prince, as married.[5][6] The Broadcasting Content Complaints Council (BCC) asked SET India to move the series to a later 10pm time slot and the network complied. After a drop in viewership resulting from the move,[7] series producers opted to restructure the series for prime time, in part by removing the child marriage theme by advancing Ratan's age to adulthood and recasting the character.[8]

petitions were stopped when the makers clarified...but later smriti irani intervened and sent sony the notice...the channel got panicked and they didn't even think twice and took the show off...like i said PPK generated huge buzz...but its concept was misunderstood, they could have alter it instead closed the show and brought a sequel which flopped badly !

the last episode trp of PPK was 1.2 according to BARC ...secondly the makers clarified that there was no such instance of child marriage in a press conference but it was the channel which took the decision to shut it down...my memory is fresh...i am baffled by how they treated the show and instead brought a boring sequel which sank without a trace

Rohit was not part of PPK, yet PPK also shut down and rightly so. just because you are hung up on PPK is no reason to take someone else down. PPK was gone long before RLHN came into existence and it went out of its own issues. Rohit didnt shut PPK down. so dont take the angst of losing PPK out of Rohit...or any other actor for that matter.

and just because PPK had trp in initial days, you are assuming you would have gone strong. that the same type of assumption as when you are asking others have they tested any other actor out for ratan. you dont know if PPK would have lasted longer.

and the reality is soon ppl would have gotten bored with PPK because if it was just about friendship between a child and a woman who are married and sharing a bed still...it would have constantly had more and more opposition from general public and clearly bored audience who would never see any romance between the leads.

when PPK and RLHN are not equal stop comparing them. PPK died long back. RLHN went on for a long time despite jet speed and plot mishaps only because of the lead couple chemistry. just because you dont like rohit or the lead couple chemistry does not mean the rest of the world thinks the same thing. the response here should tell you that if nothing else.

how can u say NO GREAT CHEMISTRY just like that in fact DIRA have teh ebst chemisty show mw anotehr pair who ahve best chemistry on screen ..just name a couple i can laugh my herat out and i can point out how their chemistry is by comparing to DiRa

see any online forum any FB any twitetr ..none said DiRA lacked chemistry ..every one said CV messing up with ratan diya characters

show got LOW TRP bcos of the bad script after marriage

..

any story to be a succeess strong villian needed..but foget about strong villian ..absolutely no vllain for 40 episosdes and when viewers wanted romantic diya and ratan they srtaed dragging FRIENDSHIP mode

u talk as though only actors make a show hit or flop ..GROW UP

and whenever a show burns down everyone starts ranting excuses like OH..trps didn't come because channel didn't show interest...CV'S were treating the show badly..no promos..no repeat timings etc etc etc
honestly its wrong to blame the cv's and channel. they do not make shows to entertain a set of fans but mean serious business..these days any tv show costs a huge chunk of crores and recovery is not that great unless trp's are not great..they r forced to axe shows if they do not work well in the first weeks itself.

and its not with RHLN but other shows as well now YEH un dinon ki baat hai going the same way where the supporting actors are not happy n quitting. the show is not doing grt either 0.5 trps max but its giving them huge buzz so they r keeping it online..but for how long...

also in a post someone said viewers are at fault..well viewers cant be at fault...suchant's character didn't cut in and could not connect with audience..that's why it could not work longer..this is how things work now in telly...a good show is bound to survive or else bite the dust
