Well so Dilshaad & Rashid are Zoya's parents here with a new surname...it is surely a new and a interesting look at the change relationship between the characters... 😆
You know in the morning only i was reading HEARTBEAT WARFARE...and i have observed and loved this fact about your writing skills and potrayal of characters it is that you are very real , i mean to say you always write from the ground level that we can visualize these things in a nearby neighbourhood...like in this update also...the little convo between Zarina & Dilshaad about Tennant being a married man...it is actually a normal thing...and i love these little things about your stories...
Zoya i guess has turned into your favourite MUSE for all you want to explore her everytime you write about her..and clearly we can see a Different Zoya here in this update...and wonder how she become the Real ZOYA...which was their in the first chapt...
I guess till we are in the flashback we will not see Asad..in them and i guess the man who Zoya saw was Ahsan...and would he be the expectant Tennat for Dilshaad's vacant room upstairs...

First of all, sorry for the late response. Almost a month has gone by.

The update flowed really well, the set up and the backdrop of Zoe's story seeps through, the contrast is well done, the idyllic feel of hills, rains and tea estates come through so beautifully, the carefree days of college and friends, the unexpected day off and students turning it into a movie day.

I really like how Dilshad is Zoe's mom in this one. The whole house, 2 of them together in their little world of making it through has a cocooned quality to it, having each other, supporting and sharing through the hard times probably marks their understanding on a different level altogether.

Zoe's contrast between the now and then is even more stark, circumstances were hard, they have just gotten worse than she probably ever imagined.

The meeting with stranger in mists and rain, gentle, soft, in solitude has the right sort of enigma to it, the first thought that comes to mind is Ahsaan. (Now that I have read the other updates I realize that it was him) 😃

Overall a good update that sets up the backdrop to the current scenario.

Off to comment on next update. 😳

Zoya was Zoya, fun loving girl, enjoyed her life fully. She was daughter of Rashid & Dilshad. Dilshad was looking for some tenant. The person who met Zoya was asad or Ahsan I think so. Waiting for story to unfold. Continue soon plz. Thanks for pm
