After seeing little hype or insecurities with Additi Gupta being roped in i decided to check her performance... uf she can fill the vacancy of Alka ji & Shalini ji...
After seeing few of her popular scenes from past shows & in QH, i am finding her a weak performer... though i am liking her offscreen personality but onscreen a very weak performer... i am generally saying not because of her role or whatsoever...
However i do think she can improve a lot in upcoming days... coz Surbhi was also criticized in initial few months later she proved herself to be one if the best performer of QH... same happened with Mohit Sehgal... none thought he would shine so much with Haider's character... Ketki... Shehzad... all improved & shined in their role... with QH... so i think Additi also has all chances to do well with QH...
but as of now i am finding her weak... may be becoz we miss watching two of the great performer Alkaji & Shalini ji... :P

Comparing Aditi to Alak and Shalini is unfair.

Comparing her to SJ &Shezda is also not fair,bcoz they were both new to Tv when they entered QH and AG is not a newbie.

AG has 3 shows to her credit as far as i know and two didn't have great run one did. I've seen her in all of them in bits & pieces and she is average. I didn't see any progressive improvement in her last two shows.She had great chemistry with HC and not so great with Iqbal.Who knows how she'll fare here?

IMO she is a better dancer than SJ.

I think its too early to judge her. I mean we have got to see her like for..what? Mere 3-4 min scene? I guess I would give her atleast a week's time to make a judgement about her.

So i din't vote in this poll either 😆

Check PS... its not comparision post... i did not compare them.. precisely my post is SJ Mohit Ketki Shehzad all were weak.. later they improved... so can Additi... As she is her to fill the gap of Raziya & Dilshad, can she live upto their level is my question coz as of now i find her weak... this is not comparision... FYI...

Too early to judge her acting in QH. She's been great in her previous shows so im sure she'll mesh well in Sanam2's characterization as well. SJs acting is all over the place whilist playing seher but is great as Sanam and to some extent Zoya aswell. So its always a challenge nailing different characters.

Let me make an attempt

Can she fill the void left by Razia,Dilshad and soon Tanveer too?

I doubt. It's a very tall order.

Seriously .Because the CVs haven't been doing great in building characters of late with their attention and resources stretched elsewhere.

Can she do a Haider w.o a Humera and Zoya?😕 The best she cna do a Tanveer, not someone people will miss.

Isn't it too hasty to judge her as a weak performer with only 2-3 scenes in her kitty yet? She is a brilliant actress and if given the scope, she will shine for sure. 😊

Her role still not established nor shown much. Her acting will be based on what she is playing! Though the glimpse we got is not that great for now. But lets see...
