TOI.com exclusive reported about Aleeza Khan finalised to essay the character of Nikkhat, Asad's (Karan Singh Grover) sister in Zee TV's Qubool Hai. However, according to the latest development the actress has been replaced by the makers. Reason?

The producers (4 Lions Films) wanted a dusky face to essay Nikhhat, who is talented girl but gets rejected by the boys just because of her dark complexion. Therefore they decided on to rope in such actress who would do justice to the character.
