It all started with Kumud going to court for divorce while Saras went to prepare for their wedding. Saras got the shock of his life to learn that Kumud has not signed the divorce paper and Pramad was not in the haveli to spend the little days that he has with Kumud.
An upset Saras ended blasting Kumud but later unable to see Kumud miserable, came around and promised to never leave her.
Pramad on the other hand kept irritating Saras "tantot' asking for work 'tantot" trying to do prayschit and behaving like a good damaad especially during Kusum's wedding which was fixed to a certain Mohan.

Kusum has accepted the proposal thinking that it was the solution to forget Saras. On the other hand Danny was pestering her not to go on with the wedding thinking that she was in love with him.Finally all hell broke loose when Kumud found out that Kusum loves Saras and not Danny. Kusum got slapped by both Kumud and Guniyal but both had to "surrender" when Kusum tried to commit suicide. To make matters worse, the wedding was called off when Mohan's family got a video of Kusum's kidnapping.
An upset Kumud begged Saras to marry Kusum. Saras tried to reason her but Kumud would refuse to listen to him. She kept blackmailing him emotionally and Saras had no choice but to take a decision. Both Kumud and Kusum and the family thought that Saras had accepted to marry Kusum. Kumud was grateful to him and Kusum happy to get the man she was fantasizing on.

Saras knew that Danny loved Kusum and he swapped places with him with Dugbaa's consent.
The marriage happened and Kusum realizing what had happened on her wedding night, went hysterical and again tried to commit suicide but was saved by a clueless Danny in extremis.
Later the family found out that it was Danny who married kusum and was very upset with both Saras and Dugbaa. Even Danny finally found out by Kusum herself that she loves non other than Saras. The family had no option but to bring Kusum back home as she refused to accept the marriage in which she was cheated in.
Saras tried his best to reassure an upset Kumud and Danny that it was the best solution but both were not convinced and matters became all more complicated with Kusum washing away her sindoor and removing her mangalsutra. Pramad came back to the haveli ( he left after VC discovered that he was the one that kidnapped Kusum) to hand the divorce papers to VC.
Kumud was now a free bird!

An enraged Kalika confronted Pramad and taunted him for being a loser and for accepting defeat so easily but was shocked to learn that Pramad has not changed but faking it.
A heartbroken Danny tried to leave for Dubai leaving Saras completely shattered but was stopped by Kumud who finally decided to join hands with Saras to make DanSum marriage works. Saras went to her to thank her for her support but Kumud made it clear that she was doing it only for her sister. On their way to Kumud's place, they met Pramad who told Kumud that he was going to the US for his treatment. Kumud wished him luck and he went away with an evil smile as he has managed to fool Kumud!!
Saras was surprised and happy to learn that Pramad has signed the divorce papers and told Kumud the same who in turn called him selfish. Saras replied that he was happy to be selfish about his love for her but he equally wanted everybody to be happy. He again promised to make things right with hwer support.
Back home, Kusum kept taunting and giving guilt grips ( thanks to Kalika who kept poisoning her mind) to Kumud but fortunately Dugbaa told her off and made sure than both sisters understood that Saras was not a toy
.
Later the family got news that Dada ji was unwell and wanted to meet DanSum. Saras convinced Danny to join the family to go to meet the old man and DanSum had no option but to behave like husband and wife in front of dada ji.
Saras and Kumud shared some nice time with Dada ji and had some nokjhoks too where Saras never failed to make her feel special and to tell her how much her support was important for him. When dada ji proposed to do a "hawan" for the newly wed couple, Saras gave his mom's bangles to Danny as a blessing for Kusum who rejected the gift.
Later when she found out that they were from Saras, she accepted them and again started dreaming of Saras. But her balloon deflated when she found Saras and kumud on the terrace and again witnessed their love for each other. She ran away to her room to bawl hysterically but... finally accepted that Saras cared for her even though he doesn't love her the way she wanted.
Since then, she has turned dangerously calm.🤢
This month's saga ended on Saras and dada ji "pol kholing". Kumud has found out that dadaji was never ill and was only faking heart attack and his partner in crime was non other than Saras!!😃

The kusum Danny shadi was not just blah, it was super se bhi oopar in its blahness

I mean no one, not even the chalu kalika aur could recognize that the dulha was too tall and too lanky to be Saras

And our Kumud sundari could not figure out that the voice that chanted all the mantras was not the same one that had been whispering all those sweet nothings in her pretty ears

But, never the minds, what goes of ours, we are toh happy happy ji, that Saras pulled this trick and saved himself for Kumud

For the first time, with great fanfare this award will be shared by the two sisters.

Just like they share everything they own, their kamarbands, their boyfriends and now even their award,

Of course we shall initially award it to the elder ms Desai, from whom it shall be snatched away by the younger one for whom it was anyway really meant.

So the award goes to ms Kumud sundari Desai, and here I would like to quote kk84 (Kat) :
