Exactly shass... this is the current scenario. The fallen angel (General) struggling within the clutches of the evil (his curse) reluctantly observing the endearment of Eve and Adam (Khushi and Lordy).

And you are absolutely right dear. General undoubtedly is in an advantageous position, as of now. For all the reasons he has listed down to Lordy in chapter 206, he certainly has an upper hand in the current situation. But the essential point here is, though he is positioned above, he is still positioned as an OUTSIDER... wishing to disrupt their paradise and enter their territory.

Anyways, as usual the optimistic in me didn't give much weightage to his apex "position" in the triangle they form, but the "environment" they are in... the play of black and white in the picture. Shass, did you notice? Lordy and Khushi are positioned safely within the protective circle of warmth and prosperity (their fond love for each other and their righteous hearts) and almost they and the entire place surrounding them was WHITE in colour. Whereas, the General was positioned uncomfortably in a dark BLACK night sky but with few hopes in the form of twinkling stars... Though his body was painted with shades of grey from his waist, his chest which holds his heart was painted white in colour. As the thin cresent of moon peeking out in the dark sky, I guess he does have a white heart but its hidden beneath the darkness surrounding him...

@ General being the change between the yin and Yang... I feel the change can be influenced by outside factors (like General, for instant) but it has to happen within them... its their internal change which they have to learn, realise, accept and shape up for the better... By "bringing together forever", if you mean their physical unity, yes that's possible but if their heart and soul need to unite, then its in their own hands...

P.S. Its interesting to see that the fallen angel (General) was positioned in the SKY and Adam (Lordy) was positioned in the EARTH owing to their beastly forms...😉

P.P.S. Shass, I just came across another interesting painting by Lin's favourite, Mr. William Blake... Don't go into deep analysis of the picture, just take a superficial look of the painting... I know you'll be intrigued.😈

Poor Khushi...she is so confused.

Poor Arnav who has to deal with the bitter truth of the General's taunts in the previous chapter. Both hurt each other, but husband and wife need each other too...

Rabba ve again.

Something just occurred to me. Lord Arnav leaves his wife hole alone all day, with the risk of coming into contact with the general but then in the evening hours, when he comes home, he realizes he can't have her alone at home. Is tht foreshadowing that something will happen that will allow the general to capture Khushi? Will lord Arnav be the cause of it?

I don't know if it means anything or if I'm reading too much into it. Maybe I'm overanalyzing it. Any comments would be greTly appreciated.

the first line was gen's lines to anjali regarding shashi...n the second one to arnav regarding khushi...

the gen from the nocturnal return made me see him with a heart...a man who could have killed, did not...it would have been easier to get to khushi if shashi was not at all there, wasn't it?...he did not do it...

but, the gen's lines that he doesn't care what happens to khushi...was that only to spite the lordy?...he may be mad with the need to get to his cure...but, we have not seen his heartless-ness yet, have we?...i still cant see him that cruel...

Hmmm... i agree sansu, he is not cruel but selfish. He is a man on a mission, who by crook or hook is determined to get cure of his curse. He has been in search of his cure for a long time now and when he finally identified it he couldnt stop but become obsessive about it... He has a good heart which doesnt think twice before protecting an unknown village girl from the villager's wrath, save her again from getting drowned in a river (he was not aware that she is his cure, then). He is all chivalrous to her till he start suspecting her as his cure.

His conduct with her changes after that. He is all sugary and manipulative with his words trying to win over her heart, for he needs her willful submission to allow him claim her (to break his curse). Yes, he doesnt care about her, for she is just another common village girl to him. He is not in LOVE with her like Lordy. He just loves his CURE in her. So, if his cure only comes at the cost of Khushi's life, then he is ready for it. Ofcourse he need to carry the weight of this guilty act throughout his life, but he is all ready for it. You see, its for a Greater good!!! (according to him)...

Now, about him not killing Master Shashi... First, the murder was unnecessary to perform, when he have other options in his hand like wiping off his memory clean. Second, if he had killed Master Shashi, it might have created unneccesary suspicion in Lordy's mind and thus lead to jeopardise his secret plan... Third, it might have made his cure distressed and it might have increased the distance between him and his cure...

I can only conclude that he is not that cruel, but obsessive behind his cure. He avoids commiting sins as far as he can, but when it comes to his CURE, he is ready to overlook anything and everything...
