Hey!

Anshi invited me long back...but then I had nothing to share.

But I am definitely joining the party to bitch about Rithwik and Asha. Urgh their fans have made me hate them and the two actors are no better. They RT all the sweet messages from their fans but do not stop them when they abuse Ankita. She is called chudail, budiya, aunty and what not. It is ironic that their fans are the first ones to report press button on IF even for constructive criticism.

I saw one of their videos. So much PDA that it is not even funny. Asha and Rithwik were giving interviews to a lot of media persons on the NB sets when suddenly Rithwik starts inhaling Asha's skin with an orgasmic expression on his face...it went on for full 30 secs. I was waiting for babies to pop out from my computer screen. You know what, I prefer Sushita not being so social media savvy. Their personal moments are theirs, and not for the cameras. Of course once in a while they can be dayaalu to us...the rare appearance makes it even more special.

About Asha and Rithwik copying Sushita. I do not think so. It was probably planned. In the last episode it was said that Rithwik never made a formal proposal..they just gradually became a couple. And public proposals are not something unusual. So I will give them that BOD. Also, I don't think even Sushant intended to propose Ankita for marriage. It was Priyanka who made it out to be one, Sushant just nodded along when she asked if he was asking Ankita for marriage. It was a valentine's day love confession..that's it. But yes, it was pretty evident from how Sushant and Ankita were blushing that it was all natural. <3

I wouldn't have mind them being on Nach Baliye. Yes, the show has got all mushy but I am sure Sushant and Ankita would have liked to show their dance on display. Anyway its a wishful thinking. Now my dream for Sushita is that they become so popular that their baby is a mini celebrity like Aaradhya Bachchan. ;) NB as a show is pathetic. Its mediocre dancing and only two or three couples are good. Seriously, a show with reel life couples should start...it will be great entertainment and a complete win-win for fans.

I miss Ankita and Sushant together. Hope to see them soon.

BTW, I saw the last bit of CNN IBN's Indian of the Year when Kapil Sharma was making his speech. His confidence is remarkable. He was among an English speaking crowd and yet he was not out of place. That's what...if you have the confidence, people will listen to you irrespective of the language you speak in. Confidence is the key.

I too am not mad at them for copying Sushita, no one has a copyright on public proposals in reality shows, plus I feel it was the channel who probably is back-staging all this, or maybe it is to steal the shine from other couples who are doing full on PDA in the show. I just find it stupid that they took this route bcos they will obviously be asked about Sushita and whether they were inspired by them, since Ankita is their co-star and Sushita were part of PR. Sushant-Ankita being extremely popular, journalists lose no chance to ask such questions these days. After all, no other public proposal gained as much popularity and media attention as Sushant-Ankita's did- it is spoken about till today. So first they had to face accusatory questions from media claiming they might be faking their relationship to take part on NB like other couples, and now questions will be asked on this proposal. They could have chosen to avoid all this by just choosing a different way to go about it. As I said earlier, its an Aa Bail Mujhe Maar situation.

And Bonne, I too have not read or seen their interviews so I also don't know whether they copy Sushita or not. But I personally feel it would be very difficult for someone to copy others for such a long time without appearing fake, so I don't know, am not too convinced.

IMO, they are OTT as a couple. She makes the baby voice and he daddys her. That's not how my Sushita ever were...so please all you guys don't compare them.

I have seen them only on the show and I have to agree about the baby voice. They are not the best of actors. Arjun is better than Purvi but dialogues and voice modulation dono ka kharab hai, and something about their expressions comes across as annoying. Too many expressions, maybe? And I'm not saying this bcos I have any beef with them- my Mom who is a totally neutral party also agrees with this.

I find Asha better though her dialogue delivery is bad. Rithwik is not at all natural..tries too hard and it shows. ETA: They both are not that great. Shruti, Ankit are far better actors.

Ankit is the best of the lot in the second generation. In the third one, it's the actor who plays Prashant. A total natural. Oh and a special mention for the kids.

Actually, I think the third generation's actors are better.

Btw I forgot to mention...Rithwik and Asha have indeed become immensely popular due to their Pavitra Rishta characters. And their fan following is pretty dedicated as well. They might beat us on IF if we run a comparative poll between ArVi and ArMan today. Although, I would still like to believe that Sushita were more famous as a couple in their heydey as ArMan.
