Hameeda should've spoken up for Ruqaiyya even though she isn't her favourite because it was completely WRONG.

I felt very bad for Ruq today. It isn't the humiliation as much as, the sheer terror of being seperated from Jalal that has made her this angry (and ager does hide pain does it not, many a time?)

I am intrigued now too, to know how does Jalal come out of this very scary sticky. He looked so sad & angry , simultaneously. Like even his heart was weeping at the thought of divorcing Ruq.

Logically they cannot show any such thing. Goes directly against history!! And will give some new descendant , fresh opportunity! 😉

So how will he untangle , himself, regally? Like we know he would?

P. S. As for siding with Jodha, yes, Ruq did that because she wanted Maham to be trapped through her son but , I feel she did also mean it. She too, was genuinely disturbed at this marriage proposal by Adham & the state of women & girl-folk in India.

It wasn't only to put Maham in her place.

Ruq is truly angry & pained, because of Jalal. Jodha is collateral damage. 😆

iss hisaab se dekha jaaye toh intercaste marriage bhi not allowed tha unn dino ...he married jodha coz he was the Emperor

Jalal ka poora harem khaali hoga after the points Adham will raise 🤣..then he and Atgah Khan can play pakda pakdi in it ...😆

Jalal is way too lenient with Adham Khan...no one can question the Emperor in his court and then he humiliates his marriage and his wife...if it wa anyone else other than Adham..Jalal would have beheaded him...that is what pricks ruqaiyya too...MA always has that upper hand and by default so does Adham...he had punished that woman who had questioned his marriage to jodha coz she was a commoner ...and he did not come to her defence is what hurting her too

The only Empress is Hameeda.' Ruq, Jo & Saleema are his Mallikas. Don't ask me what, but there is a big difference. 😆

this is precisely what atgah khan and the maulvis were talking about - so its not like the CVs didn't have that bit covered..

Well...absurd or not - he had a few seconds of fame where he did make somewhat sense...😆 had Jalal not made the statement that the law held for past marriages too, then he wouldn't have been put in that spot... however, Jalal ended up saying so since Adham Khan mentioned that his affair with Tasneem has been ongoing even before the law was passed... Now that Jalal gave his word - Adham said na na na you have a past marriage with a naabaalik too...

I know I know that we are all right now fuming at Adham's insolence...and at MA's heartless nature...but, my my my - the manner in which the episode was shot blew me away!

There might be loopholes in this track too - but, the manner in which it was executed today has shushed a lot of the questions that we have been putting forth. This is possibly the most 'justifiably' and 'logically' confusing track if you know what I mean. 😆

JALAL AND ADHAM

As a king, Jalal is stranded at a juncture in life that many-a-king would have found himself standing (with parallel stories, possibly not the same one). How can he rectify a seemingly innocent past in his life when going ahead to try and make changes for the future for the goodwill of his kingdom! He is not at fault and yet Adham has twisted his words at court in such a manner that could end up projecting Jalal in bad light. In fact, even the usually shrewd Jalal was unable to answer him.

Adham played his cards wisely today (and for the first time, I have a shred of acknowledgement for the presence of any capability in him, albeit a villainous one!)

1) He made sure that Jalal proclaimed himself bound by the same law BEFORE putting forth the issue of Ruqaiyya and Jalal's wedding.

2) He made sure he brought up the point that his issue with Tasneem has been ongoing BEFORE the law was brought about.

At the end of it all, Jalal is now at possibly one of the most difficult crossroads in his life - do a good deed and pass the law (which by the way, he has already signed off) while risking his relations with his best friend forever!

Take his own decision and risk gossip/general displeasure/questions amongst his people.

To top it all, this issue has once again torn him between his two Begums - where both are not really wrong!

What splendid acting by RT - be it, the regal stares he gave Adham and MA as they kept prolonging the issue in court, be it the anger he was overcome by when Adham brought up the divorce issue or the profound agony he felt on watching the state of his best friend being torn to bits in his chamber! I am REALLY intrigued to see how this problem is tackled!

RUQAIYYA

As I predicted, Ruqaiyya was indeed miffed by Jodha. As far as she is concerned - had Jodha not brought it up, this wouldn't have happened - though, she was supporting the cause too to get back at MA till this new twist transpired.

Nevertheless, she still didn't deserve what happened to her in court.

In the scene in Jalal's chamber where Ruqaiyya demands justice from a head-hung-in-shame Jalal, my heart truly went out to the couple! Any queen in her spot would have felt so humiliated and torn when her own valid and marriage-of-pride was unfortunately dragged thus in court! Worse, neither did the duty-bound Shehenshah stand up for her - nor did her Mother-in-law (who by the way HAS stood up for Jodha in the past!). ALL her questions were valid...

I'd just as much hate to be in Jodha's shoes. Imagine - you're desperately trying to do good for one person, but the intentions hopelessly end up producing such a horrible ripple effect! As it is, relationships are so delicate in the Harem, such an act would only leave Jodha wallowing in the chagrin of it all. There's nothing worse than having to deal with your own conscience - when a good deed of trying to save an innocent life actually ends up shattering lives of many others!

Also, I have to praise Atgah Khan today. The manner in which he tried to warn Adham and stood up for Shehenshah has made me his fan!

MY TAKE

Yes; as avid analyzers of the show and viewers with interest in history - we might still ponder and peruse on all of it realizing that nothing shall happen to Ruqs and Jalal. However, as a general viewer without any idea of Jalal-Ruqs history - I can imagine today's episode might have left many on the edge of their seats!

beautifully written...i somehow feel Jodha is now going to use her wit and brains and get Ruk-Jalal out of this controversy without a divorce..their nika will be saved...by doing this she earns ruks trust...rather friendship will bloom between jo and ruks...jo gets aplauded again...last but not the least...jalal will be one more step close to jo's love...well this is how I can see or rather hope to see the track going...i am more keen to see how witty the upcoming episode will be...😊

Its better I just shut my mouth 🥱 Bewaja apna khoon itna sukha rahi hoon. Sunnewaala toh koi hai nahi 🤔 the cvs will continue butchering one character after another. Lage raho bhai !

But dont expect the audience to bear with you cvs if you'll do the same with Jalal.
