Thanks that someone else is eager for a sequel!!! I will email them and PLZ EVERYONE ELSE EMAIL THEM TOO. Even if they think Apurva is too buzy now... our emails will surely make them think about a sequel for coming years. 😃

Sweetheart, it's not a question of being indifferent. You know how much efforts I put in for the reruns. It is just that I feel that a sequel is not feasible. I think T&D as well as Apu and Mona and the other actors have moved on and after working together for 3 years, want to try other things 😊 And I don't think a sequel could capture or reach the heights that JJKN did. JJKN set such a high standard that even its own sequel would find difficult to reach!!!

I get your point, aunties. 🤗 I also know too well that trying for a sequel is like....well....hoping for the Indian cricket team to win the world cup!😉😆😆 Buttttt.......what's the harm in TRYING?? For the reasons I explained in my starting post in this topic, SONY might just be looking to regain its position by banking on its former successes, and JJKN has been THE most successful show on SONY.👏

Coming to whether a sequel would be desirable or not: well, we know that the original story was masscared by TnD and Katiyal😡, so that there was a point where nearly everyone wished it would end. But if they can learn from those mistakes and make a worthy follow-up to our show, wouldn't that be treat? After all, BLF too had an Ecomonda that was as successful.😊

Another thing: All these emails will NOT induce SONY to make a sequel unless they were already toying with the idea of one; but our feedback may make them realise that yes, there IS a market for the show still. Moreover, it will wake them to the fact that MANDA have a lot of potential as a romantic onscreen pair. 😳 So i suggest: If you are not keen on a sequel, at least email to tell those ppl that we want to see MandA again together on screen.
