He named his character Leela, not so much after his mother (that's just emotional bullshitting you know...Bhansali) but simply because it matched so much with the name, Ram...Sita would have been too old-fashioned...Leela sounds just right and intriguing enough.

Or maybe he does have some kind of mommy complex...dunno!

What my best friend said after the movie, "Khaya piya kuch nahin, glass toda barah aana.."😆😆

IF amazes me. She says while there was double entendre and raw passion, there was not even enough kissing. 😆 And here I hear that RL is apparently soft po*n. 😆 Fandom. 😆

SLB films are not for everyone taste...either you like it...or you hate it...hands down...but the man have is just artistic...he draws a canvas in his films and his chosen leads are the souls of his film...his films are basically seeing art coming into life...

i am watching the film on monday...will give my reviews after watching it...

Lolz...stargirl...there was actually nothing of that sort in the film...I mean, nothing more than what you see in most other films these days. Frankly, SDR had fare more explicit scenes than Ram Leela had!😆

And there was barely any kissing too...more like friendly pecks on lips...Ang Laga De was the only exception and even there, the smoke from the coal that Leela lights to entice Ram obstructed the audience view! Aur batao?😆

Thanks to Ranveer's constant boasting, even the supposed best kiss in Indian cinema got chopped!

So it was all much ado about nothing, as far as kissing and other such scenes go!

I like ranveer in 2 nd half when he was not over doing it n liked deepika in bits and pieces. I dont understand blind crase behind deepika. She is not best actress in town as her fans clam her to be .atleast we kat fans dont claim to be her a best actress. We know her flws in plus points. But deepika is not best actress is not industry nor was it her best performance. I liked her in cocktail and thats it . Leela was over the top and unrealistic role. Inspite of ranveer role being unrealistic too. He did a comendable job .

Just watched Ram Leela, I didn't find Ranveer terrible at all. Ranveer is so good in the movie. For me he is the best in the movie

Great acting in the second half, but very good over all

Fans only claim that Deepika has potential and shown improvement. I have actually never come across a single Deepika fan on IF who says that she is the "best in town". She was not a good actor by any means before, but when a person works hard and improves themselves, they are bound to be admired. And Deepika is a the only one with some potential among the current crop of actresses. Who else has it? Katrina? Kareena definitely does, but she is older and more experienced than Deepika. Vidya too. As a young actress, she does have potential. And her eagerness to better herself is a good thing. When Katrina improves herself in acting, she will be admired too.
