Chapter 21

Taani made him lay on the bed and she asked him to take rest while she bring him something to eat and left the room ...

He lay on the bed .. his mind was filled with images of her sobbing and hugging him , worried for him.. her worried questions .. the way she caressed his hands and wounds weeping ...

Click .. the door opened .. he lifted his head towards the door .. it was her she had a tray in her hand . she had come to serve him dinner .. he felt happy .. for some reason unknown to himself, his heart felt content calm and happy..he never expected her to do all these After what he had done to her ..his face fell gloomy .. his heart felt heavy remembering what he had done to her... He lifted his head and looked upto her ..her back faced him .. she was transferring the soup to a small bowl... he felt bad .. very bad for a moment ..her purity and her sincerity was clearly visible from her angelic face.. those dove eyes of her's refelected only innocence and love ... they could never cheat any person .. not even one who does wrong to her then how could he ever expect her to cheat him... how could he think wrong of her .. how could he ever question her purity ...her morals .. chiii he said to himself .. feeling shame on what he had done .. his mind echoed ...that he was wrong!!! " I have done wrong to her .. I have done wrong .. I need to repent... I should seek forgiveness..."he was saying to himself In his mind

" rey..." She called him standing near him ... but he was in deep thought that he didn't hear... " rey..."she called again.. but same reaction.. "REY..." She called a bit louder touching his shoulder's..

" ha ... haan...kya .. kya hua Taani???" he asked being a bit startled... "that I should ask you rey.. I was calling you since long butyou weren't paying any attention... are you ok rey??...are you in pain???... aap theek toh ho na?? shall I call doctor ??" Taani asked concerned ..

"ohh no Taani.. I am fine ... I was thinking something so I didn't hear you calling me .. sorry..." rey replied

"mmm..." Taani was still not satisfied "rey .. I have brought soup for you .. please have it and then you have to take medicines also..."

"mmm..." rey said with a half smile

Taani pulled the table with the soup bowl near the bed . Rey leaned from the bed towards the bowl ..he leaned forward but since his right hand was plastered he couldn't evern move them near the bowl .. he tried holding the spoon with his left hand when Taani stopped him by holding his hand ... she sat beside him and took the bowl in her hand ... she took the spoon and started feeding him the soup...his eyes travelled all over her face while she was fully concentrating on feeding him unknown to his glance..how cute looked .. those soft black curls of her's were playing naughty pranks with her .. they continued disturbing her tickling her on her face...and she frowned .. she couldn't adjust her hair coz she was holding the bowl on one hand and was feeding him with the other hand ...but her naughty curl's found it the appropriate time to disturb her ... she frowned and swayed her face to either sides... he couldn't help but smile seeing her cuteness... She looked like a kid when she frowned!!!..finally she finished serving him and then she left the room .. rey lay on his bed ... his mind was filled with her thoughts ..he felt guilty at whatever he had done to her ...

4 day's passed rey recovered fast under taani's care .. now he was perfectly fine ... he could walk well and his wounds were also cleared ..

Next day morning

Rey rubbed his eyes to shoo away his sleepiness .. aaahhh' he stretched his hand and tried to get up but he couldn't .. he curved his eyebrows .. something was holding him tight around his body below his chest .. he looked downand saw her long tender arms which snaked him round .. he smiled...she was laying close to him... her soft curls covered a part of her angelic face...he wanted to remove her hair from her face but he feared whether that would disturb her sleep so he didnt do that..he remained on the bed enjoying her beauty ...after a few minutes she started craling slightly ... " mmm..." she left out a drowsy moan ...he smiled further enjoying his lady coming out from her sleep... " mmm..."she moaned and turned to the other side

" Taani..." he called softly ..

" mmm..." she replied in her sleep

" Taani ... you don't want to get up????... its already 8am.."rey said softly

"mmm... So what rey..." she replied in her sleep

" I was thinking of going to office today..." he said softly

" mmm.. haannn... Mmm... Mmm???office" she rubbed her eyes and got up " but you are not fully ok"

" I am fully well Taani and thank you for taking care of me all these day's ..even after all what I had done to you , you took good care of me .. you were a dutiful wife.. I never expected this type of care from you after what I had done to you but you did your duty thank you and... " before he could complete she bursted out " this is your problem rey..you always have had your own vision about thing's...you never bother to see thing's from your counter part's part .. for you what you think and believe is 100% correct and you burst it on other's without caring whether what your loving ones's feel for .. you never bother to think what other's feel ..why don't you understand... you.. you think that I cared for you only because it was my duty????? You think like that??? You think that I cared for you just to fulfill my duty as a wife??? You think like that rey????.. huhhh... " her eyes had already welled up with tears she felt bad .. he could'nt see her love for him??? " leave .. it's a waste to explain things to a man like you ... " she said wiping her tears's and slid down from their bed

" Taani... "he called from behind but she didn't bother to hear.. she went to take her clothes from the cupboard and moved towards the bathroom..

"shit!!!!" he sighed " you misunderstood Taani!!!!.. I dint mean that and you bursted out midway .. you dint allow me to complete what I wanted to say .. I know what you feel for me ... you love me .. and .. i...I ...????i don't know!!!!" he sighed and slid down from the bed and moved towards the cupboard to take his clothes " Taani... make it fast .. I have to go to office ..." he yelled out

Hearing him shout from outside she murmered to herself "what sort of a man is he!!! Huhhh!!!" she dried her hair with the towel and put on her clothes and moved towards the door ..meanwhile he moved towards the bathroom door and knocked on it and said " taaniii.. aur kitna time lagaogi??? Fast...I have to go to office ..come out fast .." he was knocking the door when she pulled it open in force and both actions occurred in the same instant and the net result- he was pushed inside with the force of her opening the door and he came crashing to her and finally both ended one on other on the bathroom floor!!!.

"aahhh!!!" she yelled having hit her back on the floor..he lifted his head slowly from her neck and looked upto her face ...he was about to shout at her but couldn't do so ...he couldn't utter a word seeing her angelic face.. she looked so beautiful .. and that cute frown on her face .. he couldn't help but smile.. " aap has rahe ho???...get up.. get up !!!" she gave a stern look and said stubbornly.. but he didn't hear a word she told.. he still kept staring at her ...she was confused at his expression but then she calculated in her mind - what did he say to me sometime before.. he doesn't have any feeling's and neither will he ever understand my feelings and see how indifferently he is behaving now..[she looked at his face .. he was still smiling]see how he is smiling now and after 5 minutes he will again shout at me.. hmmm " she sighed and started looking for ways to slid from underneath his body.. that was when her eyes fell on the water tub near by .. she didn't think much .. in a fraction of a second she leaned to take a mug of water and SPLASH!!! She splashed the entire mug of water on his face .. he turned his head sideways immediately and slid aside.. having got a chance she quickly stood up and started walking towards the door

" TAANI!!!!!!" He shouted from behind and she turned to look at him... "how dare you do that huhh!!!" he barked on her face ... " toh mein kya.."she couldn't complete her sentence but before that came a huge SPLASH!!! He splashed a mug full of water on her face .. the water hit her directly on her face.. her already wet hair's were now soaked.. she tried to open her eyes slowly , gritting her teeth ..he had a victorious grin on his face ... she fumed seeing his grin ..less than a minute passed and there she went splashing half bucket water directly over him.. he was drenched in water ...and now she had a huge victorious grin on her face.. he wiped the water from his face fuming in anger .. her grin increased his anger even more .. how dare she do that !!.. he looked at her with anger fuming in his eyes while she still had that playful victorious smile ... he looked on either sides for the next weapon and his eyes fell on the shower .. he raised his eyebrows in a naughty smirk.. she still stood with the same expression unknown to what was cooking up in his head .. looking intently into her eyes he started taking his steps towards her .. she was least bothered with the first two steps but with his third step she understood that he was heading towards her ... her playful smile soon gave way to a doubtful expression...he continued making steps towards her .. she looked towards her right and then to her left and then looked back to him.. there , he took yet another step forward .. this time she took one step back ward, looking at him with a doubtful expression..he raised his eyebrows again and gave a naughty winning smirk to her and made another step forward .. she took double steps backwards and hit her head on the wall of the bathroom .. she turned back and touched her head feeling the pain..slowly she turned her head forward again and there she had the shock of her life .. he was standing close to her with millimeter distance between them ...her hazel eyeballs popped out ...in a swift of a second he pulled her hard snaking his left hand round her petite waist.. she came crashing onto him holding her hand above his shoulders.. his eyes scanning her face intently while she felt her feminine hormones rush through her nerves...very trickly with his right hand he turned the tap of the shower and shhh!!!!!!! The cold water came over the two of them.. "huhhh.. rey... " she dropped her head feeling the heavy water drops while he held her tight .. she tried to slid out from his arms but he pulled her further close to him.. "chodiye hume.. rey..."but with his winning naughty smirk he pulled her further close .. his gaze was heating up her body all over ... she felt her heart raising ...slowly she stopped restricting and like an obedient kid cuddled close to him..he ran his finger's slowly over her milky cheek's..she closed her eyes feeling his touch...her grip became more strong on his shoulder's as she felt his hot breath come close to her face .. he leaned closer and closer to her face and .. muahhh... he gave a butterfly peck on her soft cheek's ...she felt a shiver ran down her spine .. she gripped him tight on his shoulders.. he rubbed his stubble on her soft cheeks and moved slowly towards her ear " I am sorry Taani .. really sorry ... I have hurt you many a times.. but I am sorry .. I have understood my fault .. I had been wrong .. I did wrong .. please forgive me .. and Taani today morning you misunderstood me .. I dint mean to say that darling ... I know .. I know that you love me..." he cupped her cheeks with his palms.. she looked intently into his eyes.. her eyes brimmed with tears... they were searching his chocolate brown eye balls and it was quite clear from them that he really meant what he said .. his eyes reflected how guilty he felt and how much he wanted her to forgive him.. he continued " I know Taani that you love me sincerely ...I was stupid to doubt your sincere love .. forgive me Taani .."

"thank you rey for trusting my love ...even though it took time finally you understood that my love is sin" sincere.. but Rey.. shall I ask you a question??" she asked firmly looking hopefully into his eyes

" haan dear... you are always free to ask anything .. you are my wife ... you have the right .. ask me Taani..." he said softly cupping her tender cheeks

" Rey... Do you love me????"she asked looking sharply into his eyes ... her ears waited impatiently to hear his positive reply ... her heart stopped beating for a second waiting for his reply .. she felt her body almost frozen to its position .. "answer me Rey...Do you love me???" she cupped his cheeks with her soft palms... he felt a chill ran through his whole body .. her question echoed several times in his ears... his mind too started repeating the question but his tounge failed to reply to it ...he looked at her blankly...slolwy she removed her palms from his cheeks and then removed his palms from her cheeks .. she wiped her tears and replied " its ok Rey... don't worry .. I understand ... In fact I knew that you don't love me .. so don't feel awkward .. its ok.. I understand .." she wiped her tears " I .. I was a stupid " she hit her head withn her palms " I expected the same feeling from you which I have for you in my mind.. but its my fault I should have tried to understand you .. its ok Rey.. I will wait .. I will wait my whole life ... and I am sure one day will come when I will get my love..." she wiped her tears and managed to smile .. he was intently looking onto her face .. he felt bad .. very bad .. he made her cry again.. "till then we will be friends like we used to be in our childhood .." she tried to smile.. " soo... friends????"she extended her palm forwardfor a handshake .. a lone tear drop that remained on the brim of her left eye twinkled as the light fell on it..he also extended his palm forward and took her hand in a hand shake .. she smiled and left from the bath room... he stood there thinking ...her question still ringed deep inside him " answerme Rey .. do you love me????" he shut his eyes hard while the cold water from the shower ran down his face... " do I ... love her???" he asked himself...
