Mom had pain in the back today. Ice was applied without a single sound of protest because the family doctor gave her a earful. Nothing major, so no worries. She'll be okay 😃

I And Shama had diagnostic MRI scheduled but no power in the hospital for all day . I was punished for forcing Shama. .

Very festive indeed . Tomorrow we will do flower Rangoli . Leena and Shama made lots of sweets . Karangees ( gujias ). Besan Ladoos , chivada . Chakalies . Tomorrow we will try Khaja . Problem is I will eat every thing and Moti ho jayungee . We are waiting for my brother . He is in NY and driving home . He has new outfits for us . He wants to make Kandeels just the way we used to make them . So lots of fun and excitements. Good distraction for Leena no more sadness .but Yaar I miss my hubby . He loves Diwali . and he is all alone . Such as life !
