As far as i know, he did 3-4 daily soaps after that and none of them worked...in his last one he was not even the male lead. He might get it back with his latest show on Life Ok...who knows.
Also on IF star power of TV actors is mainly associated with their online popularity. If we talk of the TRP audience, the star power of Anas or Karan Mehra might be much more since their shows have been top of the TRP charts for many years. If u ask a regular TV watcher who does not come on IF, they have more chances of knowing Suraj or Naitik or Asad than HC or KT...IMO.

wouldn't deny what ur saying...the demographic which really matters is different...i as a viewer would prefer watching the likes of HC kt to anas and the mehra guy ...anas and mehra are mere flower pots in their shows while a love story would require an actor with a certain charisma and i hope aashish has it in him..

I agree with what you are saying...what i meant to say was that online popularity is mainly for actors who have done youth shows and intense love stories. Ashish has so far not done any such show so maybe that is the reason he is not that popular online. But that shouldn't be a reason to write him off. So lets hope for the best 😊

Also except for HC, all others are either busy with their shows or more interested in BW at this time. So no chance. It would have been good if the PH had approached HC but then maybe he doesn't fit the role or he is not interested right now because of personal issues.

no no would be really unfair to write him off without giving him a fair chance...he seems promising really but there are days when i'm skeptical and wonder if things would work out...only after the show is on air can we tell for sure...

After doing KYPH iqbal was in KAA but suddenly left the show in the mid point when he left i also quit watching it and after this show i never saw him again in any other good show each n every one was boring n gradually he lost his star power but i can say he is still one of the popular actor of indian tv, now this life ok show seems interesting hope it will bring something good for him and will bring back his stardom and i always wanted to see iqbal with sanaya but sad he even start to shoot for life ok show even before chhanchhan's ending that means there was no chance to see him with sanaya in color's show but hope in the future someday my dream will come true.

Ashish also has a film too. May be he is gonna be the next BW dreamer if the film do well. every other tv actor have it nowadays.better they choose a newbie and groom 2-3 months to fit the bill.hope fans dnt find it offensive or biased.

Sorry for disturbing you guys, but being the TM of this thread i need to remind some people not to talk about other shows in this thread. and you guys know it very well about whom i am talking about. and this is high time some of you should check the rules at the first page and stop QUOTING more than thrice. Do not take my words as an insult i really dont want this thread to get closed.

What actors does in their personal life, who has films is irrelevant to this thread. Just talk about Sanaya and her new show. As the actors are still to be finalized you can discuss about her co-stars but please remember everyone has fan followings and if you talk derogatory about anyone their fans will come here and defend them so please be careful how you are talking.

Another truth is youth show actors actually have challenging roles to showcase their talents, i know there r a few who are totally useless n r popular, but mostly the youth show actor's popularity is justified as they really are good at their craft. The channel V, old Star One 90% of the actors r really good. while anas natik aham types suck as in saas bahu shows males have nothing to do

anyway Ashish doesn't belong to either category n he seem to have talent aspect going for him n up to a certain level looks too. He is no HC or KT on that front but still much ahead of the dikras on tv.

i would still prefer HC over every1 else..n KT also too..

But i would quite happily accept Ashish now that i have warmed up to him... some good grooming, a good role and he will have it good 😳
