TellyBuzz got in a candid conversation with Hemant Ruprell the producer of the popular dance reality show Nach Baliye season 6 which is soon to go on air on Star Plus. This year the theme of the show is romance and will have 11 couples competing with each other to win the show. This year few new elements will be introduced in the season and will have no repetition of the elements when compared with the previous season.
Talking about the same in detail, here is the producer Hemant Ruprell unplugged...
Sharing about the new elements and concept of the show, producer Hemant says, "This show is a medium to show the viewers the story of 11 couples, their purity of relationship which is very unique than the others. We will portray their unique relationship in a unique way and the viewers too will be able to relate with this concept."
Nach Baliye which will be aired on the weekends and will have a tough competition with other reality shows too. When we asked Hemant about how will he take the competition? He says, "Competition will always be there. No one can escape from this competition as you just have to keep fighting. Today the market is very fragmented, it doesn't matter whether it is a singing show, dancing show or any other daily drama show what matters is whether that show is able to provide the much needed entertainment or not, then a person will surely watch it."
The theme of the show Nach Baliye is Romance, "Yes, the theme is Romance; as every common man can related to it. Romance is something everybody talks about and they can easily relate too, be it a teenager, a married couple or older people, it is a concept that everybody connects too and hence we thought to go ahead with the same for this time," says Hemant.
Hemant is very excited for this season to go on air and he says, "I am extremely excited for this season, the kind of couples that we have on our show is just amazing. Couples have been selected from different industries like the one is a builder, another is a chef and other is an actor who will be seen shaking their leg on the Nach Baliye dance floor. The couples are all set burn the dance floor with their gracious moves."
He says that it is very difficult to choose couples for the show, "It is very difficult to choose the couples for the dance reality show. Everybody wants varieties and we have to keep in mind all these factors. Monotony kills the show. As compared from the previous season there is nothing similar in this season, we haven't kept the repetition at all, the 11 couples are extremely different than the last season's couples and this is what takes the show to another level."
So what does Hemant has to say about the judges, "Most of the shows have their panel of judges and so does our show have. The judges connect well with the viewers and the audience like this trio of the judges who are fair enough to judge a dance show. Shilpa Shettyhas her own perspective and the audience relate to her very well as well she is a very fair judge when it comes to competition, same goes with Sajid Khan too as he believes in speaking what he feels like, he doesn't restrict himself and speaks the truth. Terence Lewiswe all know that he is a spectacular choreographer and a teacher who has been fair with his comments always."
Further he elaborated saying that the hosts of the show are truly rock stars, "Both our hostsGautam Rode and Karan Wahi are rock stars. We just experimented last season to come up with two male hosts and luckily they themselves just rocked the show with their anchoring. They were very much appreciated by the viewers; even other shows too copied the same of keeping two male hosts."
As much as the producer is excited to see the show Nach Baliye season 6 going on air, so are the viewers waiting for the show eagerly.
