they also forget Arjun PROMISED to marry Ovi first

he got engaged to Ovi despite loving Purvi

Pari anger is right . Arjun never try to talk or meet her for past twenty year. If its only thinking way then i think may be Ovi use the situations to her favour and use arjun care for Pia to craet rift between arjun and purvi or may be she make a lia pia is not arjun daughter . So when arjun know this he leave her.
So making choice what you want to see better to wait what actually happen.

Arjun doesn't deserve to be in Pari's life. If he really wanted to see his daughter then he could've. 20 years is a long time. Yes Purvi is dumb, and yes Purvi misunderstood him but what does that have anything to do with Pari. Purvi herself that said he did not call her in 20 years. Why not? He loves her he should've understood that she was hurt and angry. He could've called, he could've explained things to her 1 year later, 2 years later, 3 years later... He had two decades to call her. He could've talked to Archana, Sachin, Teju, ANYONE! Teju and Sachin were his friends once upon a time. He means to say nobody would've understood that he did not know about this baby he had with Ovi who by the way was conceived when they were married?? People keep saying there is more to this story and it doesn't matter what the story is. The point is he let things come between his love for his wife and his daughter. I think Purvi was so so so wrong in this whole separation and in raising Pari, but Arjun is not a victim. I am sorry he was misunderstood but maybe he should be more proactive, and instead of waiting around for things to happen and sort themselves out.

By that logic, can Ovi be bashed? She was way out of line when she behaved so atrociously with her mother even if it was because of what Manav and Savi had filled her head with! Ekta is just recycling the story here. So if we bash Purvi, we have to bash Ovi, tit for tat, in the exact same fashion.
