Part 69
Recap:Kripa and Angad had a fight…Kripa was totally ignoring Angad…she received flowers in the morning which were frm Prithvi…all the teachers and staff members were called to the Princy's office for an urgent meeting.
Angad inched back until he was standing against the wall,behind the rest of the teachers…far away from the princy and totally out of her view.
Suddenly all the teachers quietened down as the Principal entered the crammed office.She seated herself into her seat,folded her arms in fron of her on the desk and stared at them all.After a pretty long period of silence,one oof the teacher's asked…
T: Ma'am,r u going to say something?
P:(sharply)ofcourse I am…wht do u think I've called all of u here for?laying eggs?
T:(embarrassed)n-no ma'am…I didn't mean to say tht.
T2:will u plz start the meeting because all the students have been left unattended?
P:(angrily)Ofcourse I will!(her tone softening)right after my favourite teacher arrives.
Angad,who was listening to all this,looked up at the ceiling and rolled his eyes.
All the teachers who were well aware tht she was talking abt Angad,separated so the Princy could c her Angadddd standing at the back,dreading the day he had joined the university.
P:(beaming)oh!Angad!where were u?u know I don't start any meeting without u!
She hurriedly got out of her seat and stretched out her arms for him,beckoning him towards herself.
Angad felt queasy and ws wishing tht the tiled floor would just open and eat him as a whole but tht wish was in vain cuz nothing happened.
Angad cowered against the wall and shook his head vigourously,clearly not wanting to go near the Princy.
P:(giggling)oh cum on Angaddd!...come close to me so I can start the meeting…u don't want to keep every1 waiting now do u?
A:(thinking)moti kahin ki!mein kuch bhi kar loonga par tere kareeb nahin aaoonga…chahay tu humein pura din idhar khara rakhay!
Angad glanced at ther rest of the staff members who all had pleading and sympathetic looks on their faces.
Not being able to take it anymore,some male teachers came out of the crowd.One of them came cloe to Angad and whispered in his ear…
T:we know wht ur going thru man…it'll be ok.
A:(whispering back)u don't know even half of wht I'm going thru!
Having no choice out,the male teachers literally pushed Angad into the Princy's arms who hugged him reaaallllly tight,squeezing the air outta him.
Finally she let go of him and Angad dashed to the crowd of teachers and merged between them but…
P:Angad…I would appreciate it if u wud stand in front of the rest of the teachers,where my eyes can easily spot u.
A:(mumbling)but i wont appreciate it.
A few teachers standing close by him snickered.
P:huh?
A:nuthin ma'am,i was saying tht i wud appreciate it too.
P:(grinning her head off)gr8!
Finally,after a few more minutes of nagging,the meeting started.
P:this meeting is held to bring to the notice of all the teachers tht each class will be going on a field trip frm tmrw onwards.It will not only be a relax for the students but also for the teachers who will take active part in all the activities and will be treated as one of the students…no difference will be made and no teacher will have authority over the students at the trip.The trip will comprise of a number of fun-filled activities and is of a number of days thus,they shall be staying in tents.
A:(excitedly)u mean a camp?
P:(beaming)tht's like a brilliant man!tht is exactly wht i was triing to say!
The Principle blabbered a bit longer abt the trips but Angad was least bothered.What irritated him was tht the Princy kept on glancing at him and passing smiles at him while conversing with the others plus,the other teachers seemed to notice tht becuz he cud see ppl covering their faces with their hands in order to preven themselves frm being seen by the Princy whilst laughing.
He was way too happy abt the trip,he wud finally get to spend time with Kripa where she wudn't be able to ignore him.He had already started future planning.

The class was full of chattering..paper aeroeplanes flew here and there and some of the guyz were sitting on the desks.Hardly realizing wht was going around her was Kripa,sitting in the corner all by herself picturing the scene of Angad slapping her again and again.She felt frusterated and broke her pencil in half in anger.
P:oooohh…looks like sum1 is really upset..lagta hai tumhein mere phool achay nahin lagay…right?
Kripa nervously glanced to her right side where Prithvi was sitting.He had noticed her sitting all alone and came there to give her some company.Kripa hadn't noticed Prithvi at all and had totally forgotten to thank Prithvi…she felt guilty now.
K:nahin…aisi baat nahin hai
P:uh huh…to phir kiya baat hai?
K:(after a pause)can I ask u sumthing?
P:haan..poocho bhayee…tumhara haq hai.
K:i hope u wont mind
P:nahin baba…poocho to sahi.
K:woh phool-
P:(cutting her off)tumhein achay nahin lagay?
K:(smiling)nahin…aisi baat nahin hai…actually i was wondering woh tumne udhar
rakhay thay?
P:nahin to….
K:huh?
P:(laughing)ofcourse meine rakhay thay…kyun?
K: "Na khwabon me dekha na nazzaaron me dekha
Hazzaron mein eik humne aap ko dekha
Ghum dene waale to har pal hai yahaan
Har pal khushi dene waalon mein ek aapko he dekha"
K: waise tumhein kaise pata ke woh mere favourite flowers hain?
P:(speechless)woh…actually…pata nahin..bus aise he
K:(doubtful)r u sure Prithvi?
P:ofcourse yaar…acha mein chalta hoon…someone is calling me.
And he walked off to his seat to chat with one of his friends.His heart was racing and he was nervously glancing at Kripa again and again.
FLASHBACK
The door to Angad's room opened and he cautiously peeked outside to make sure no one was there.
A:(thinking)whew!the coast is clear!
Then he stepped out and stood in front of Kripa's door.He glanced at his watch…he knew tht Kripa might come out any moment so he hurriedly placed the boquet of flowers he had specially bought for her to make her know how srry he was,in front of her doorstep.Then tip-toeing and with his fingers crossed,Angad went into his own room,hoping for the best.
Slyly watching all this was Prithvi who had carefully hidden himself from Angad's view when he had seen him step out of his rom.He briskly walked over to Kripa's door and picked up the flowers in anger.He felt enraged…how dare Angad gift flowers to Kripa?How dare he?This right belonged only to him..not to Angad...not at all.
