To late night parties
This is the time when I question my family
The time when I go against my society.

They scold me .
Why .. ?
Just because I am trying to be the real me .. ?

I am nine-teen .
At this age too , through loads I have been.
Crying every night ,
while hugging the soft teddy bear.
Dreaming to have a next day bright.
Every day , something makes me tear.

I miss the little me .
The girl in the little pink frock .. where is she ?
The "Little Miss"
I miss times like this .
When , just getting to watch cartoon , was considered as a bliss .

Under the layers of thick makeups.
Are the tears of responsibilities , pressure , expectations and breakups.
Now everyday I get ready to start my day .
Thinking , this is the time , To put on that fake smile and pretend that I am okay .

~My dad used to tell me to look up at the sky when I felt like crying. Ya know, to keep my head up to stop the tears. Guess what,every night I count the stars.~
