Arm, thanks for having finally worded it with such clarity. The extent of the clunky majbooris - producers banning a superstar, flop director being given control, non-RK-centric story accepted, a family in which Radha could give 20 lakhs to Sikki with no expectation of seeing it again and yet RK now at a bank's mercy to show his film is underway *despite* his having given the bank adequate collateral (whether the loan is paid via the film or by RK winning a lottery at the last moment can be of no concern to the bank), and RK's wife who has never acted before debuting in the new movie being considered by the press and bank official as anything other than the banned superstar could get no one but his non-actress wife and a flop director for his film. Such a double whammy should have ensured headline of flop film in the making, to be disproved only upon film's release months later.
Was appalled at being unable to feel even for the Rishbala interaction since it felt like much ado over nothing with both of them so stressed over such relaxingly unbelievable majbooris, so avoiding writing on the scenes until whensoever can get back the emotional connect to the unfolding story.😭 Desperately hope it's soon (too damn addicted to the story if not to first-telecast episodes), and with the heroine track finally started any which way, we may finally see an end to clunk and the return of mostly unclunky story-telling in MEIEJ.😊 Hope that may be right away actually.😳
