Part 11

Its been couple of days since the court room drama.. Astha is sitting in her house and thinking about the whole incident..

Astha's mom enters and looks worried " Astha I am worried for u. I don't know y u had to interfere in this entire case. U were not needed to do all this. I have a bad feeling that some trouble is awaiting you"

Astha consoles her mom" no mom don't worry. Nothing will happen.How could I give a blind eye to something wrong happening around me. Those innocent girls are being tortured and wronged every single day. Someone had to speak up"

Astha's mom interrupts " u spoke up right... then what happened? Noone believes u. the case was lost. Even those girls for whom u were fighting did not support u in the end" " oh god please bless my daughter and make sure everything will be alright"

She walks away from the room

Astha starts thinking of Shlok and her good moments with him. She remembers the night they first kissed.The first time she fell in his arms and even the night she stayed in his house .. Astha sheds a tear remembering him " why did all this happen. Seemed like a dream just disappeared"

Just then the phone rings and astha's mom answers the call. She is shocked when she hears someone telling her something on the other end

Astha rushes to her mom and asks " what happened mom. Tell me please"

Astha and her mom reach the police station in a hurry..

Astha runs inside and looks at her father who is in the prison.

Kalindi rushes to him and asks " What is all this. Y have they arrested u?"

Astha looks at the cops and one of the police says " he has been arrested for drug dealing and selling drugs to youngsters in his shop"

Astha is shocked " no inspector.. u are mistaken. My father runs a grocery supermarket and he cannot do all this. There is some mistake"

The inspector sternly tells astha " ur father has been caught red handed. We have found drugs in the shop and arrested him with full proof he says.. its gonna be a big case madam. Instead of wasting my time here go and find a lawyer"

Astha's mom is crying inconsolably and astha holds her and tells her " don't worry mom. I will do something. There is some mistake here. I will go and find a lawyer"

Kalindi and astha leave to find a lawyer and they reach the court. Gauri also joins them. They keep looking for a lawyer and suddenly kalindi faints.

Astha is shocked "mom !!!!! wake up.. gauri we need to take mom to a hospital immediately.get an auto fast"

Astha and gauri rush kalindi in an auto to a nearby hospital.

Astha and gauri are waiting outside the room for the doctor to finish the checkup..

The doctor comes out and says " Ms Astha ur mother is having a panick attack. She needs to be kept away from any kind of stress. She has high bp and she can even get a heartattack if tensed too much"

He hands over a prescription and leaves

Gauri consoles astha " give me that.. I will get aunty's medicines. Don't worry she will be fine and we will get ur dad out soon"

Gauri leaves the room

Astha goes and sits next to her mom and closes her face with her hands and looks down

Suddenly a hand grips her shoulder. Astha is shocked

Its SHLOK standing behind her.. she stands up and says " Shlok !!!!its u??"

Shlok has an angry look and says " come with me we need to talk. He tightly grips astha's hand and drags her out of the room to another lonely room"

Astha is uncomfortable Shlok!what do u need.. u are hurting me. Leave my hand u r hurting me shlok"

Shlok pushes her into the room " I havent yet given u as much hurt as much u have given me"

Astha is shocked and doesn't understand what shlok wants.

Astha says " Shlok what do u need. I need to go to my mom she is sick. And my father is in the prison"

" I know that" shlok interrupts

Astha shockingly asks " u know that. What do u mean"

Shlok gives a stern look to astha and walks towards her and corners her " I have put your father behind the bars"

Astha is teary eyed " u have put my father in the prison. But why? He is innocent.. he did not do anything wrong. And u have a problem with me then deal with me and y are u harming my dad"

"So did my father not do anything wrong to u or anyone" shlok shouts back.. " its payback time astha"

Astha pushes shlok and says "ok.. u want an eye for an eye right. Dnt worry I will get a very good lawyer and my father will be free in no time'

Shlok laughs " did u forget who I am and what I am capable of doing? Ur father will be in the prison all his life and I can even make his life hell in the prison"

Astha stops and turns back " what do u want shlok"

Shlok looks away and says " Marry me"

Astha is shocked " What???"

Shlok turns back and says again " marry me... u have spoiled my father's reputation that he took 25 years to make.. u blamed him for something he can never do and now u need to pay back everything astha with ur reputation."

Astha is in disbelief

Shlok comtinues " do as I say and ur father will be fine and out of prison. The day I complete my revenge ur father will be in ur house. If not ur father will forever be in jail and ur mother I don't know whether she will survive this shock" he smirks

Astha gets angry " Mr.Shlok Agnihotri keep this nonsense to urself. I am leaving . I will find a lawyer to defend my case and nothing will happen to my dad"

Astha walks away from that room

Shlok sees and going and says to himself " u will come back astha.. very soon.. I have blocked all ur routes.. ur only road left will lead to me"

He smirks

Astha finds a lawyer and reaches the police station.

Astha looks around and asks the inspector for her father. HE shows her the cell where her father is kept.

She walks upto the cell and is shocked..

Her father has been beaten up black and blue and is in very bad condition. She breaks into tears " dad what is all this. What did these cops do to u?.. don't worry dad I have got a lawyer for u"

The lawyer and the inspector talk. The lawyer turns back to astha and says " Astha we can file a case on ur fathers behalf. But he cant be released now. He has committed a non-bailable crime and he has to be in the prison till the court hearing. I will try to get a date soon may be in a month or 2 we will get the date"

Astha is totally broken. She asks the inspector " y did u do this to my dad ?"

The inspector says " madam ur father has committed a big crime and we need to do our work. So win the case and take him but don't interfere with our work"

Astha is totally in tears and starts walking out of the station.

Its raining heavily and she remembers shloks words.. " do as I say and ur father will be fine and out of prison. The day I complete my revenge ur father will be in ur house. If not ur father will forever be in jail and ur mother I don't know whether she will survive this shock"

She cries and walks in the rain thinking of what is happening..

She calls Gauri and asks how her mother is ..

Gauri says that she is still unconscious..

Astha looks around thinking what to do
