Kareena has worked with many actors who were not big box office heroes. Off the top of my head there's Rahul Bose in Chamel, Tusshar Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, and Imran Khan. She worked with Hrithik, Abhishek, Salman when they had drouts in their career and were unable to deliver hits.

She was worked with Shahid even in his low phase when he had flops. He became huge after JWM. She worked with Ajay Devgan in 2006, who hadn't delivered a hit since 2004.

Biggest example is now, working with Emraan whose last big successful film was in 2011.


I think I made my point. Clearly she looks beyond box office when she signs projects. Although I do admit at times she may sign projects for income or box office hits who doesn't do that? That's how katrina made her position in the industry; by picking strong commercial projects. There's notbing wrong with that, but she has picked films without looking at the box office of the hero.

What I found absolutely amusing was someone stating that Kareena was a top 5 actress in Bollywood. Hell yeah she is, there's barely 6 actresses in Bollywood. PC, Vidya, Kat, Dpad, Kareena and Sonam. Others are all retired or new like Pari, Sonakshi.😆
Anybody who thinks Kareena is a bigger star is kidding themselves or has been caught up in the massive media blitz and PR exercises that Mrs KKK is famous for.

Hashmi is a huge box office star. Whether or not the media gives him his due or he toots his own horns or he goes to bollywood parties to make the page 3 cover doesn't matter, because he can get people to come see his films in hordes and he gets paid big bucks to do it.
