***DOTW: Would u marry an insane man?***

Wel im back with another discussion of the week.

We all watch dulhan, and we all enjoy it too.. the new entry has surely spiced things up a little and we are hoping for the new entryto be Vidya's bro and not up coming lover...😆

dulhan started with Vidya's marriage to Sagar... and we like their jodi..but my question and this weeks discussion of the week is marriage...dulhan is all about marriage..and i wanted to know whether in life if you were asked to marry an insane man would you marry him? i know its stupid and yous all will say hell no, but im sure Vidya must have thought she'd marry a sane man but fate had something else stored for her. So if something like this was to happen with you, what would you do? would you marry an insane man? if circumstances were as such would you agree to marry him? and if you do how would you try making the marriage work? and if not? why wouldnt you want to marry him?

It sounds rather stupid, but when we look at Vidya and Sagar we think aww what a cute jodi, but even their marriage is similar to the discussion..a girl marrying a insane man. So why does our opinion differ for someone else than for ourselves..

I know its a show and its really not true, but say if dulhan was based on a true story would you still think the couple was great? the marriage was a good thing?

As much as I love Vidya and Saagar, I honestly don't see myself marrying a mad person. Especially if I didn't know them at all. Its a different matter if you had been with this guy for a while now and had claimed to love him *cough* SURILI!!!*cough* 😡 I would never leave him like Surili did. I'd still stay by him if I genuinely had loved him and even if I didn't love him but was good friends with the guy, I'd still stand by him.

To tell you the truth i myself would not marry an Insane man if i didn't know him like Vidya did...As Reemz said if i was in love with him and knew him before and he became abnormal then i would marry him..because i love him and an handicap would not change the love i would feel for the guy... 😳

but if i loved someone..who later became mad..i would definately stick by his side and support him.... 😳 UNLIKE SURILI 🤢 😡

I would marry man who I am in love with mentally stable or not..As a person who is passionate about psychiatry, and only passion is to help people with mental disabilities, this decision wouldn't be the most major role that would play when I get married to someone.

Since I want to be a psychiatrist, then it's obvious the first thing I will most definitely do, is treat him. I will try various types of therapies on him, and know which medicine he needs to take and how to handle him..

Also, they may not be a cure for all mental illnesses, but medical science has been enhanced so much, that these illnesses could be treated maybe not to completely cured but to somewhat cured! It also depends on the severity of the person's mental illness...I would not marry a person who has anti-social personality, multiple personality disorder or any other dangerous mental diseases...

As for other people, I know many people would hesitate to marry people who are mentally unstable, but that doesn't mean their not good human beings...Maybe because they just don't they will be able to cope mentally, emotionally and physically with a life partner who is mentally ill...Plus, it could ruin their lives too...so this decision should be taken by people who can cope with such marriages...

If Dulhan was a true story, Vidya would be a good wife to man like Sagar who is mentally sick, since she takes care of him well...but the marriage altogether has kind of taken away all of Vidya's happinesses, all she has now to be joyous about her love for Sagar! Also, Sagar would recover faster if he had a wife who could face off his enemies, read which medicine he really needs to take and what treatments he needs to take! But as a 'couple' they understand each other and posess compassion for one another, that in itself shows that they are a successful couple! 😳

Out of all your discussion topics Yuvi, I love this one the most, as you can see it's got me all excited, long paragraphing...😆😳😛

Hmm... well, in Vidya and Sagar's situation, Vidya didn't really know Sagar. And I don't want to marry someone whom I dun even know, regardless if they're mental or not. If I genuinely loved them or were best friends with them, then that's a different story...

About being mental... hmm, that's kind of hard to say.... since I have not been in that situation before... but doing what Surily did, I would never, ever do that because I value friendship a lot. It's a great question, just difficult to answer 😆 or wait.. I wouldn't say difficult, just hard for me to put it in words !!

The way that they portray Vidya and Sagar is just beautiful in BMTD though..... and it's quite realistic, forgetting about the ghar ka cirumstances and Surily and the bhakwaas..... but just their relationship in the serial is beautiful😳
