i read again the first few chapt to know their presant state of mind where i found maan become lonly aloof inspite of having everything, it means he regrets for something and that regrets doesn't allow him to live peacefully.
so my guess now is khurranas were going in financial problem,and roy were also ritch so this alliance will help to bring their market share value up again, so this alliance was buisness deal between khurana's and roy.
i think his father must have bought that land and he was not wanted to give back that land to geet so he act differently, or he was wanted her to forget him.remember him saying he will act such a way that she will be in minimum pain, but his sentance - that he can afford her to be his mistress was too much humiliating and insulting.no 2 people in true love will speak such words as it hurts so much that it leaves the scar forever..
so here i dont think he said so to forget him,but he said so to hurt her purposly still the reasonings are not clear but the words he used was not right, it will be difficult to forget those words by geet.

The farewell party was jst fantastially touching and so was the Maan-Dev talk.And d Maaneet dance was out of ths world.Reminded me of Kurbaan hua.And then they parted away.

Geet's papaji's land was purchased by khuranas and then Maan's behaviour.He is faking,thats for sure.But even that acting of Maan was extremely hurting.Its so correctly said,there's no sound of heart break but the pain and d scars r for ever.

Pls update jaldi,cant wait to see what happens next and why Maan did this.

I had planned to read this SS once the past gets over as in maneet stories pasts have always ended in a painful way here again the same has happened accidently I read chapter 17 thinking the past is over but now since I have read it here are my comments
looks like maan is planning something for long term and which is why he told dev that he will let samaira know that she needs someone better for herself slowly and that he will make sure that geet gets less hurt in all this may be when maan danced with samaira he felt that geet will be unable to see him with samaira till the time he makes samaira realise her love for dev hence he decided for parting ways with geet
Looks like KC is facing some financial crisis due to which maan had to buy that land in HP and start a project there as land in village will be cheap and the profit will be more and it will help him to establish himself as a bussinessman but in all this he lost geet
coming to present that I read in chapter one maan still loves geet and he has cut himself from the rest of the world as he had hurt geet only to make his project a success.
One thing I am confused about is that is maan presently married to samaira but then if I read the first chapter then the way adi described him as someone having everything looks to family he did not mention him having a wife he mentioned his dadi parents and brother but not wife and knowing him he will never marry a girl whom his brother loves so dearly lets see what next update is all about waiting to see a strong geet and maan's reasons for doing this.
My only request is that please don't show maan being married to samaira in the present and let it have a happy ending
