pakistan played so badly, wat did they think that no matter how we play, rain will pou and interrupt the match??? 😕 😆 .... they played lyk individuals more than a team!!! we cant always depend on yousef and younis to cum out in the early overs and save the team, and since they always have to cum out and bat in the early overs, y not just make them the openers!!! 😕 seriously i just dont get our team ... over there austrailia lost to england in a very harsh way!! i mean england is not the best around, but the way they played was really worth an applause!!! 👏 y cant pakistan at least be consistent... they brought up their 1st 50 in lyk 25 overs!!!!!!!! 😡 ... saying that the senior players lyk yousef/younis/ inzi didnt play their "natural saving the team game", is not the solution... i mean how many times can they actually save the team!!... not in every match, i mean we r a team, not three individuals!!

SA, is really luking at the WC, they keep on cuming back stronger than ever!! they just hammered pak wid a TEN WICKET win!!!! 😡 they dont just win, but just destroy the opposition wen they win!!!!

and wat has happened to our bowlers???? and abdur rehman??? abdur rehman gave lyk 26/27 runs off two overs???? 😕 😕 😕 pakistan was a big distaster out there!!!!!!!!! 😡 we shud learn a few things from england, if they can defeat the unbeatables and that too in austrailia, then y cant pakistan at least put up a good fight against SA, they arent that strong the way the seem!!! they just have that determination to win again and again, and thats exactly wat happens!!!!

pakistan shud cum strong in the last odi, but wats the point? a real good team will at least play consistently in every match that they play, but pakistan actually has to make a comeback after every loss!!! i mean y cant they ever win consistent matches! 😕

in the next match, pakistan shud do much better than today!! they fail, win, fail win???? wat kind of pattern is this??? they can never win the WC if they dont play lyk a team!! and the way i see it they play lyk individuals more, and they always realize their true position after a defeat, never all the way!!!! 😡 ... i only hope pakistan plays much better than today and ties the series!. u cant expect anything from our team!!! they just never play wid the ryt spirit!!

i totally agree with u!!!!!! i saw the total in the morning and then i quickly changed the channel..............Hats off to England!!👏....... did u see ponting's face.......he luked soo disapointed..........england prooved that they are a unpredictable team............. + they were very consistence in this ODI series......... And on the other hand Sri lanka were almost going to loose the 2nd ODI's series........... but they won at the end............ it was nail biting match to watch........... the host lost in all today's matches besides SA ..... I thought tht pak will come up more strong this time.......but it luks like pak were in a hurry..... they wanted to finish the match as quickly as possible.......did u notice tht almost all the batsmen were caught in the slip .....uhmmm anyways now eve if we win,the series will be a draw..........we already lost the test series from them........ ANd i totally agree with u mumtaz..........they shud now be playing for Pakistan and for pak people....... Hope tht shoib will be back.......Pak need him really badly..

i dont even know wat to say... 😕 it seems as if every team has that fighting spirit to cum back and defeat their opposition, except our pak team!! ... england got white washed in the ashes 5-0, and see them now!!! they just kicked the aussies back real hard, and that too in odis just before the WC!!!! the aussies surely got a shake!! and i can truly state that aussies will cum back strong n the WC lyk always, but they arent unbeatable lyk they once used to be!!! and SL were also unpredicatble, but they fought hard against india and they did win at a crucial time! but wat has pakistan done!!!! 😕 we actually won the test and odi series at home against the WI but wat confidence boost did that it give 2 our players? do our players take everything too easily?? i mean its not as if we cant win, its just that out players r never in the mood to actually realize their mistakes and know where they really stand!!

I was so upset..i even didnt watch the 2nd nning when SA were bating..there was no use at ol..n after tht i checked th score they finished the match in 14overs 😭

Pakistan never recovered from Shaun Pollock's suffocating spell

Graeme Smith, the South African captain, heaped praise on his bowlers for decimating Pakistan and setting up a ten-wicket win at Cape Town. "It's one of the best bowling performances I've seen from this team," he told reporters. "The bowling unit took a bit of flak after Durban [where Pakistan scored 351 for 4 to win by 141 runs] but they've been superb for the past few years and today they were fantastic."

Put into bat, Pakistan were bundled out for 107 in the 46th over before Smith and AB de Villiers knocked off the target in just 14 overs. "Every bowler hit fantastic lengths," added Smith. "I don't think the wicket did that much after eight overs, but the pressure we built on them and the way we fielded was an incredible effort."

Shaun Pollock, who bowled brilliantly for his 2 for 13 off ten overs, said a responsive pitch helped South Africa, and singled out a classy fielding unit. "It definitely did a bit for us this morning, but once the heavy roller came on it flattened things out. Every bowler kept the pressure on and gave them nothing for free, and the fielders were also superb."

Inzamam-ul-Haq, Pakistan's captain, said he hoped his team would prove more competitive in the final match on Wednesday: "Credit goes to the South African bowlers, but we definitely played poor cricket. I would have said 230 or 240 would have been a good total on this track, then we could have put some pressure on the South Africans.But we're confident that we can play hard cricket in Johannesburg to level the series."

Given assurance by the International Cricket Council (ICC) that it can seek replacements for any injured players, Pakistan will announce a 15-man World Cup squad on Tuesday. "

We have spoken to the ICC and they have said if any of our selected players are not cleared fit we can seek a replacement from the technical committee before the World Cup," Saleem Altaf, the Pakistan board's director of cricket operations, told Reuters. "We didn't get an extension from the ICC for delaying our squad so we have to go ahead now and hope for the best."

Pakistan have their share of injury concerns, not least the doubts surrounding the four fast bowlers, Shoaib Akhtar, Umar Gul, Shabbir Ahmed and Mohammad Sami. Shoaib, Gul and Shabbir were forced to return home from South Africa, while Sami is still struggling with a back twinge. Altaf stressed that if Shoaib did not recover from a new knee niggle injury, he would definitely not travel to the West Indies.

Clause 6.5 of the Participating Nations Agreement for the World Cup states that after February 13, players can be replaced only in accordance with the World Cup Technical Committee and Medical Regulations. If after March 2, the WICB Medical Committee certifies that the player is injured under the medical regulations and a team management applies for a replacement, he can be replaced only with approval of the Technical Committe

so is asif going to play the WC...........hope he does? 😭

and i was reading this article on the net, which sated how pcb is making a real big mistake by planning to take a dope test of each player beofore they go to play the world cup, and i agree!... pcb shud not perform such crucial tests at such stages!!!... who knows wat myt happen... and wat if asif and shoaib get entangled in the same situation lyk before, really hope that never happens, but our pcb is whacky and they never make sensible decisions, so pcb shud forget taking any tests, it is not an intelligent decision at all, and that too ryt before the WC!!!!!!!!!!! 😕 and y is our pcb so concerned wen other boards arent!!! 😡 😡 😡 our pcb isnt professional as compared to other boards!

About Imran Nazir, I agree wid u...and even i think Hafeez is better than Imran Farhat!Atleast he is not chancy! Imran N-Hafeez combination will b good...as one is aggressive and the other can give a stand to him!

And about the dope tests, i am really very worried.Yesterday I saw a programe in which Dr Danish Zaheer, member of WADA said that the PCB shud stop these players from going to the WC by putting any excuse of injury or something...and they must not carry out these tests....coz there r 90% chances of that nandrolone being still there in their blood...and if they test positive this time, they will b handed over "a life ban" !!!!😕 I dunno wat PCB is trying to do.....khud bhi doobengay aur in dono players kay careers ko bhi le doobengay!😡

everything depends upon Younis-Yousuf and then, Inzy...I mean Younis n Yousuf always hav to come in under pressure situations wen we hav lost our openers on less than 30 runs, then they hav to settle down, they have to stay there and save the wickets and at the same time they hav to score runs quickly too!!I mean wat is this !! Woh bhi Insaan hain!!😕We saw in the 2nd match that these 2 were not in pressure and they looked soo happy...pata nahi kitnay dinon kay baad woh log under pressure nahi thay!! I dont know why r we opening the innings with Kamran Akmal....he gets out in the 1st or 2nd over...still u see him opening the innings in the next match...Younis ko 1st ya 2nd over mein tou aana hi hota hai...Is se achha tou ye hai k us se open hi karadein.Atleast ek wicket tou bacha kar rakhaiga!

Apart from Abdur rehman I was really disappointed with Rana!!WAT HAS HAPPENED TO HIM!!!!😕He seems lyk a club bowler bowling to an international batsman!Still he earned a place in the World cup 15 players....while Azhar Mahmood and Sami were thrown out! Now I feel Sami is better than Rana...atleast uski speed tou taiz hai!Runz tou dono hi ziada dete hain!
Hamari team mein jazba khatam hogaya hai! Players do not play for winning...they just play for the sake of playing!😡 this attitude will definitely not get us the WC! I dont think Pak will even qualify for the semi final..agar aisey hi sab chalta raha!
