First of all I am sooo SORRY 😭 for the late update ... Have been really busy with assignments ... Gosh I cant tell you how much I hate these assignments 😡 I hate to keep you guys waiting but I am helpless Anyways Thanks for waiting so long for this update! I love you all so much for still supporting me 😳

Chapter Nine
Delhi:
Tears started flowing out of Buaji's eyes when she saw Arnav and Anjali standing at the door. Even they were no less; tears were brimming in their eyes too. Buaji opened up her arms and called them and the moment they saw that they ran towards her like little kids ran towards their mother. All the three wept while hugging each other tightly. This was the scene that welcomed Shashi. He could not see Arnav's and Anjali's faces, so he got worried when he saw his jiji crying out loudly while hugging two people.
Shashi: Jiji!
Buaji, Arnav and Anjali heard Shahi's voice and turned towards him.
Buaji (with tears in her eyes): Shashi babuwa see who has come ... Our Arnav babuwa and Anjali bitiya!
Shashi was shocked to hear that; he looked at Arnav and Anjali carefully and when he recognised them, tears started flowing out of his eyes too. Seeing him cry both Arnav and Anjali called out "Babuji" and ran towards him and hugged him tightly. Looking at their bond more tears came out of Buaji's eyes. Arnav and Anjali were no less to the Guptas ... they considered them as their own kids. And they were really worried about them since they were not able to trace where they were for the last four years. It's time to clear the doubts ... So Buaji wiped her tears and mustered up some courage.
Buaji: Ok enough of this rona dhona! Come here you two ... let me see you both properly! My kids have become so big!
Shashi, Arnav and Anjali broke apart and wiped their tears while walking towards Buaji. Arnav and Anjali sat on either side of Buaji and Shashi sat on a stool next to the bed.
Buaji: How are my kids?
Anjali: We are fine Buaji! How are you feeling now?
Buaji (while keeping her hands on both Arnav's and Anjali's cheeks): After seeing you both I have become much better!
Both Arnav and Anjali smiled knowingly. Anjali turned towards Shashi -
Anjali: Babuji how have you been?
Shashi (with anger in his tone): What do you think? Do you think I would have been happy without knowing about you both!
Anjali: Babuji woh...
Buaji: Where were you both for these 4 years? There has not been a single day that's has passed by for us without thinking about you both.
Arnav: We were here in Delhi Buaji!
Shashi: Delhi? With whom?
Arnav: With Nani!
Shashi: Oh! How come you both never contacted us ... We were so worried about you both!
Anjali: We did not have your contact details Babuji!
Shashi: But I had given my number to Anmol when I had called Lucknow after reaching Australia!
Hearing that name both Arnav and Anjali flinched. Anmol Mallik was their chachaji (father's brother) ... the born criminal ... The man who separated them from their parents and loved ones.
Shashi: I had called a few times after that but I was told that none of you were available. And the last time I called ... I got hold of Anmol again and he told me that Aalok and Bhabiji passed away and you both ran away from home after that. And that he was really angry for such behaviour of yours so he doesn't want to have any sort of relation with you anymore. I was shocked to hear that and he disconnected my call. I tried several times again but he used to always disconnect it. I was so confused with the happenings!
Arnav (while trying hard to control his anger): Babuji the truth is that we did not run away ... Chachaji threw us out of the house!
Shashi and Buaji gasped with utter shock when they heard that.
Bauji: What are you saying bituwa? Threw you out?
Anjali: Buaji he saying the truth!
Buaji (while keeping her hand on her head): Hai Re Nadakishore!
Shashi: Anjali bitiya clearly tell me about what happened!
Anjali started narrating all the incidents that had happened after the Guptas had left Lucknow.
Anjali: After you all left Lucknow; Papa faced a major crisis in the company. Since you were the one who used to look after the finance department while you were there ... Papa was so used to overlooking that department that he continued doing it even after you left. He did not even realise someone was buying the company shares and by the time he came to know about it, it was too late. More than 50% of the shares were bought by the person. When Papa asked the new financial manager who was appointed by Chachaji he said even he was unsure about how it all happened. Soon a letter from the court came stating that the company is going to be taken over by the other person. That shattered Papa! He got a heart attack and was admitted to the hospital. Mama was also equally affected by all this but she stood strong and started fighting for the company in the court ... but not much could have been done. We all were shocked at the incidents that happened in a few days' time but who knew then that this was just the beginning and the biggest shock was yet to come. Soon the day for takeover had come and we got the shock of our life ... the man who had taken over the company was none other than Chachaji! Mama and Papa could not believe that Chachaji had deceived! Papa did not survive past that shock ... he passed away that day. Even Mama could not bear that and she became weak both physically and mentally ... and soon in a weeks' time she also left us.
Anjali broke down after saying that ... it took all her strength to say that out. Shashi took her in his arms and started comforting her even though he himself was crying. Even Buaji and Arnav had tears in their eyes. Arnav was fighting his inner conscience to stay strong ... there were still a few more doubts to be cleared and he knew he would have to that now. So with all his strength he continued from where Anjali had stopped.
Arnav: After Mama's death Chachaji threw us out of the house. We somehow managed to reach Delhi and went to Nani and she accepted us with open arms. Since then we are living with her. I know you must be wondering why we did not inform you about all this ... firstly we did not have your contact details ... well even if you gave it to Chachaji I am sure he did not give it us purposely. And second it was Papa's wish to not let you know about anything since you had started your new life and we could not go against his wish. But when Chachaji threw us out he told us another truth ... that he had planned all this for a long time and was waiting for the right time to come. And the right time came when you got a job offer from Australia He knew he could never succeed in his plans as long as you were there so when he heard about the job offer he took it as a golden chance and started persuading you to accept the job while he was also persuading Dad to make you accept the job. And when you did accept it he slowly started implementing his plans from which the first thing he did was employ one of his personnel to work as the financial manager and slowly he stared leading his way to destruct our lives.
Both Shashi and Buaji were shocked to hear the whole incident.
Buaji: My kids had to suffer so much by themselves! I can't believe someone can do such things to his own brother!
Shashi: Anmol was always selfish! But I never thought he would stoop so low! I wish I never had accepted that job offer ... If I would have not left such things would have never happened.
He shook his head and started bending his head in disappointment but was stopped by Anjali.
Anjali: Don't blame yourself Babuji! Who knew then that such things would happen! It was written in our fate ... it was inevitable!
Buaji: Anjali bitiya is right! It's all written by the almighty ... only what is written in our fate by him will happen ... no one has any control on it!
She then called both Arnav and Anjali near her and hugged them while Shashi stood there watching them. They broke from the hug and Buaji wiped both Arnav and Anjali's tears along with hers.
Buaji: Now there is no use of talking and crying about the past! Thinking about the past will only give us sorrows and heart aches ... it won't benefit us in any way! You both are safe and happy now... that is all that matters!
Shashi: You are right Jiji! And now you have us with you too! I am so happy to see you both!
Anjali went and hugged Shashi -
Anjali: We are happy to see you too Babuji! Missed you all so much!
Shashi: We missed you too!
He placed a feather kiss on Anjali's forehead and smiled lovingly at her and Arnav who was now side hugging Buaji with a small smile playing on his face too. Shashi was really very happy to see both Arnav and Anjali ... for him they were no less than Khushi and Yash. But suddenly he furrowed his eyebrows while thinking about something.
Shashi: But how did you both know that Jiji was here in the hospital?
Both Arnav and Anjali looked at each other when they heard Shashi ask them that.
Arnav: Khushi told me!
Shashi and Buaji were shocked to hear that.
Shashi: Khushi? You mean our Khushi?
Arnav: Ya Babuji!
Shashi: How? When did you both get in contact? Why dint she tell us about it?
Arnav saw confusion written all over Shashi's and Buaji's face. So he started telling them the whole Facebook incident. Once he was done he looked at the surprised faces of both Shashi and Buaji but soon they smiled at him lovingly and Shashi called him near him.
Shashi: I know it would have been hard for you to not tell her the truth but you took right decision bituwa ... such things are not meant to be told through chatting.
Arnav: Hmmm... but I hope she will forgive me for not telling her the truth!
Shashi: She might become angry but she will get over it soon. And anyways she can't stay angry with you for long.
Arnav smiled hearing that. It is true ... she could never stay angry with him for long and even if she did he can always woo her ... after all he is an expert in doing that since childhood. His stream of thoughts were interrupted by Buaji's voice -
Buaji: She would be so happy to see you!
Anjali: Would she be coming to India any time soon?
Shashi: Yes bitiya ... Khushi, Garima and Yash will reach here after two weeks! Khushi's final exams are going to start and once they are over they will leave from there immediately!
Arnav's eyes brightened up hearing that ... his Kisha will be with him soon.
Shashi: Bituwa I guess your final exams would start soon too right?
Arnav: Ji Babuji ... They start this week!
Shashi: Well I guess you should go and prepare for it then!
Buaji: Haan bituwa ... go prepare for it! We can talk later!
Arnav: Ji Babuji!
Both Arnav and Anjali took Shashi's and Buaji's blessings and left the hospital a content smile ... their family has now become complete ... they would always miss their parents but now they have got Shashi, Garima and Buaji to fill their void. Back in the hospital room same thoughts were running in Shahsi's and Buaji's mind ... Their family has now become complete since they got their Arnav bituwa and Anjali bitiya back.
